ASU was Really Good in 2007 (10-2) when they played Texas in the Alamo Bowl. ASU was 2nd in the Pac-10 (@ thst time) South, (lost to Oregon and USC), the team stated they "HAD SOMETHING" for Texas. Mind you, Texas was coming off a 4 game losing streak.....then ASU got pummeled 52-34. ASU IS NOT READY FOR that type of Defense....and they were ranked 11th, Texas was 19th.

BTW.....ASU couldn't even beat Texas Tech.....you think they're gonna stand a chance against Texas😂😂😂😂😂

@@RB-fn3lt I certainly can't fault you for thinking these things. The Michigan game was a real let down. Although last time this scenario happened - we subsequently got Ryan Day's best game and they almost beat UGA in the CFP. Buckeye nation is banking on getting the best there is from Ryan Day and staff in the Tennessee game. If they can win that one - we can then see if Oregon can put 40 on the #1 defense.

@@RB-fn3lt well here's the thing. Oregon would not light up OSU in a rematch because if OSU is as bad as the michigan game exposed, they won't get past Tennessee. If they can get past Tennessee, then Oregon won't see the Michigan version of OSU, and thus they would not score this much. OSU's defense put ZERO pressure on Dillon Gabriel in that game, and still only lost by 1 point. They absolutely harrassed Kurtis Rourke and undefeated IU and he never had an opportunity to pick apart that secondary. An Oregon-OSU rematch does not have to swing the same way given that OSU's defense actually pressures the QB now. The biggest problem for OSU however, is the o line. We lost our best OL in the Oregon game and then lost our second best OL in practice the week before playing IU. Then Ryan Day and Chip Kelly had the genius idea of putting the Michigan game in the hands of that OL against the only Michigan unit that was any good, thus making the game determined by a banged up, depthless OL vs an NFL D-line, when they could have thrown to their 3 top WRs who would all be WR1 anywhere else, while Michigan's best CB was injured. If Ryan Day shows this level of genius against Tennessee, we're getting blown out, because unlike Michigan, Tennessee actually has an offense, and so suiciding the offense like that will cost us dearly. We can beat UT, but we're gonna have to throw the ball a lot. And we're gonna have to throw it to Smith. I don't know what the heck is up with Ryan Day, but he seems completely paranoid of putting young players on the field, and when they're so talented that they force his hand (like Smith), he barely targets them. This all needs to end or we're in for an ugly night.

Oregon's O-line is vastly superior to IU's. Oregon would score 35+ in a rematch, and OSU would be around 17
