Got 330Ci'04 manual 6 speed. Great car on highway even today can still drive fast. Yet other E46 with smaller engines are not so good today, lack of power and short gearing or just 5 speeds are aging bad. I guess Coupes will be somehow maintained and present for many many years. Timeless design.
I own a 320i'02 manual 5 speed. The car is at about 300000Km and runs beautifully. It all depends on how the car is maintained through its life

No, you don't need to love it. It's fake. I have Z4 E85 2.2 170 ps which is lighter than E46 320 and 0-100 is 7.9...8s.

520D LCI is not in sport, it's switching gears to early. First E60 520D has some issues. M57D30 is not in sport also, switching gears to early... 535 also... Comparison is not right.
I have a 535d and I think there is no difference in D and DS mode, it's the same, the difference in DS mode is the revs don't drop below 2000 RPM
@@ricondertopcars5491 Then you should check your transmission by experts. In DS it shifts faster and holds gears longer. That means that it will remain in gear until the power starts dropping and only then switch to the next one. While in D, it tries to save fuel and it will shift in lower RPM not using the full power of the current gear. When it switches it will start from as you said around 2000 rpm during which turbo is already in use and will continue in high torque and high horse power output. If the D and DS doesn't act like that, there might be something wrong with a car and i recommend you checking it.

Nazdar, ide dobre aj v sérii je to 200kw ale chcelo by to chip 😅 aspoň na 250-260kw a 700nm, no ale aj tá tvoja e70 musí ísť krásne, skoro 370ps a cez 700nm to musí tiež pekne hýbať s tým ťažkým autom 👍 to je v sérii 210kw ? Či už N57 230kw? A ešte jedna otázka že kde si si dal robiť chip ?
@@ricondertopcars5491 chip v optimtechpro a je to klasika m57 210kw. Hybe sa to tiez pekne ale tak nikdy to nebude zavodne auto takze je to tam zbytocne, je to take auto na dlhe trasy ale kamion predbehnes😂😂

I did the exact same mod, and the second cylinder stops working after like 1 days of use. I dont know why. When i put the stock air filter box back the cylinder comes back to life and all 4 work again. Why is this happening?
