I absolutely love everything about Alastor's persona; he is such a wordsmith and is so charismatic! I love how subtlety sarcastic he is too. I also love his hatred for futuristic technology. I honestly wish I had a record of songs from Hazbin Hotel instead. I have a record player, but no one puts music on records anymore. It's kinda sad. * Just learned I could try to make it myself, but it might not sound accurate if I do. I'd prefer to have Alastor's part at it's peak than risk failing him.

I kinda wish this lasted longer, make it look like some Harry Potter, wand-dueling shit; every single fight scene in this episode barely lasted 5 minutes in total length.

But Alastor is my fav demon

i miss the old alastor. i remember i used to love him but now he's so different :(

One thing I do miss a lot about him is how in the pilot he was the ONLY one who never swore. Thats actually originally why I liked him bc that made him unique and *far* more tolerable than every other character, with the swearing it just makes him a lot less special now and the way he's voiced and animated now makes him feel even *more* like an edgy tumblr oc than an actual character from an official television show. Especially the scenes where they darken his face to make him seem more "spoooky" that just feel forced like something a teenager would roleplay when they're trying to seem intimidating. His old voice and personality was far more jolly which provided an excellent contrast to his moments of malice. Very disappointing how he turned out.

I feel like the original voice actor was more menacing when Alastor went darker. The new one keeps the cheerfulness in the voice. Compare when the original voice actor says "I would have done so already" To the new actors "This face was made for radio" It's basically the same set up for Alastor to show the evil lurking underneath. And I feel like the original voice actor captured the scariness better. What say you ?

He turned from a genuinely depraved guy trying to hide his intentions with a smile into a guy that can't stop smiling, but that is also trying to convince everyone around him that he has dark intentions. He comes across like that lolcow jupiter (look him up, dude is unhinged and thinks he's some super edgy demon/werewolf thing).
