Orion Ares Pivot Button Wedge Lock (Compression)
The compression lock patent has been expired since 02/22/2021, Orion Knives working with Scikio for the leverage lock mechanism. The Wedge Lock by Orion knives merges the two systems to allow the disengagement of a pivot button lock and the compression lock system.

Casio AE1200 James Bond Kit with a Nod to Q for the Q1200 (Seiko G757 Inspired)

Casio AE1200 given the nick name the Casio Royale which I've seen on most reviews being inspired by the Seiko G757 from the James Bond Octopussy movie. This is a project for Orion Knives that was started at the end of 2022 and will can be available through Preorder on the site or planning for Kickstarter for the project. could you release the cad files for the guard once the conversion is released? That way down the line when we can't buy these new anymore, we could have replacements laser cut or otherwise manufactured to preserve the watch.

Took a little longer to set up almost done and if there is enough interest the early bird backers will allow the watch to be produced.
I've been waiting a long time for this, ever since DCA from Knifecenter featured this.

As a Bond watch collector, I am very interested, as many Bond fans would be. I own nearly all the Seiko's worn/used in the Bond films...and the G757 is easily the coolest. I do agree with the comments below. I feel it needs some "branding" on horseshoe, mimicking the original. I get the idea of keeping it clean/sterile though. PLEASE keep us posted with any progress on this. Love to know when the preorders start.
Do you feel the preorder would be the better way as I would not want to hold onto funds. I could possibly do a numbered 1-100 for the first preorders. I've done Kickstarter prior as if the goal isn't met no one is billed. I feel on the first run I would leave it without a branding in the horseshoe otherwise it would say Orion in the text style.
When is this becoming a reality? I am so interested. I am both a Seiko fan and Casio, probably one of Seiko's coolest digital watches.

Nice idea ... nicely executed. 100% there is a market for this. It'll be very popular & appeal to watch collectors who appreciate Digital watches & more so 007 fans in general too . The James Bond watch market is dominated by Omega Seamasters. Which i for one don't really like. So something that is different, retro and importantly very affordable will be welcomed. The estimated price point of $ 100 is very reasonable. My issue would be the addition costs of postage and duty fees to the UK. That said i would definitely buy one. I would prefer preorder but Kickstarter would be fine if theres additional special perks. How do we know when it goes live please??. 👍
How are duties for the area for percentage that you are charged?
@@OrionKnives I'm not sure about percentages but if an item exceeds a particular value. VAT value added Tax at UK customs is placed upon the item. Which as you may appreciate increases the cost of the purchase overall. Will further updates be posted here on You Tube please???

Yes there would not be the same restrictions as pocket knives have so international shipping should be no problem.
Looks interesting! Are we looking at a stainless steel/titanium case? And for strap size, are you also considering 20mm?
Stainless steel case. The 22 mm strap looked better with the size, and come to find out the Seiko was also a 22mm

Love the style, but I feel like it needs some kind of branding on the top, similar to how the original 1200 says WORLD TIME, and the original Seiko said "SPORTS 100". And if it had a CASIO badge on the bottom, just like the Seiko one. Still, very cool though.
Might be able to customize it a bit later. I didn't get any to brand it as if it would have a name it would be Orion or Q1200
