Here's the thing. Abuse is one thing. I agree if there is abuse of animals, whether they'll be food or not, that should be addressed. However, again (as previous comments of mine state), eating meat is not necessarily inherently wrong, and honestly is just part of our world's sad state, often times a necessity. Me personally, I would prefer, if I ever had to take the life of an animal, to do so swiftly, as I have no desire to prolong suffering through dying.

Also to clarify, I do think that doing stuff like eating meat in front of a vegan is very wrong in multiple ways and I do think the teens went a bit far. So I think that people making fun of her is fine, but if this had been a "regular" vegan it would have been a bit morally questionable. Thank you for mentioning the mob griefing gamerule. I have been trouble shooting my custom farm for HOURS on why this didnt work on an SMP with friends. Everything worked in my creative world, just not on the server. The most frustrating part is the villagers would stare at each other, but not actually throw food. I was desperate enough to start looking at villager breeder videos instead of farm videos just to see if i could find a mechanic there that was causing me issues. And luckily I found you.

....What? Also, there is evidence for meat eating? It's because it's very, VERY difficult to get the necessary nutrition from a purely vegetarian diet (though nowadays not impossible). Also, how would people in the North (or the far South) have survived in areas that vegetation wasn't really a thing? It's really only modern times where we kind of have the luxury to choose to viably not eat meat (obviously there have always been people who have chosen not to eat meat, but it was always more difficult as it is harder to get what you need from just plants). Also the other guy's name is Jordan Peterson (which you may have already gathered now I think about it).
