You can hear the difference in timbre and the vibrato in Yuriko's voice, and when Wakana joined back Yuriko switched to doing a high octave to Keiko's line while Wakana filled in the harmony part back. Keiko at 0:57. Fans often wish she could sing like always but it only works in some kinds of songs such as this epic composition. Not for ballads and other types of solo pop songs. Unless Keiko styled herself as a fantasy artist like Haruka Shimotsuki and had the composer and musician backing to get good songs to sing. 1:20 The harmony was really sweet with Hikaru going from D4 to C4 to B3 in one long unbroken breath, before joining back at 1:31 with Keiko to support her with a smooth low harmony part! ❤❤ 3:57 the drive and slight distortion in Hikaru's voice gives a bit of harshness to the lyric. 2:01 Wakana and Hikaru having a nice harmony moment. 2:51 See Hikaru working those diaphragmmatic muscles to generate the energy! 3:08 Wakana with the floaty soprano section before Hikaru and Keiko came in beautifully at 3:14 with Hikaru going up beautifully in that passage. Without a good melody to sing even the best singers would not shine at their best... I think this performance give justice to Hikaru's ability. Sometime people lured by Keiko's charisma (who doesn't, she own the stage). But i think the one who carried the massage and story is Hikaru, she is an actual stage monster for me

Hikaru embodies the music and atmosphere of songs she performs, totally. 1:16 Look at how she touches the tips of her thumbs at the same time as the cymbal and then stretches out her hands to that incredible back bend (on stairs!)... wow! Her movements blend as one with the music, already bringing you into the mysterious atmosphere of the song. Not to compare, but the others movements are like dancers, Hikaru is like it comes from her core... 5:44 She expresses the lyrics, "there's pride in these hands" with her own hand. She's living the lyrics per time! 6:03 enjoyed the way Hikaru and Keiko's vibratos came close together giving that feeling of a quick ripple of waves. And at the end they blended into the background like they were never there! One of their best productions with lighting and dance being incorporated into the storytelling of a song.
the only "problem" with this song is that "Hyakka rouran" is even more complex :D so it went from Yami no Uta to this and then into another Universe or smth. :D

The translation seems like it was done by google, many mistakes. However the kanji and romaji are valid and the performance was amazing.
