Can this program also edit for as building drawings or is it specifically designed for estimation only?
While we do have a feature that allows editing of the existing plan page, we also have many users who do generate their as-built drawings within FastPIPE. A user can easily highlight piping on the plan and not follow the engineer's originally drawn layout (which is essentially how a user would generate as-built drawings manually with a paper set of plans). Those plans can then be saved and exported to PDF as an as-built set

been using it for a month, it's a dream for an old MC2 user. I need to make some permanent assemblies, to make me faster...like cleanouts above a San tee, or a 90 for example. I wish, there were composite assembies that we could share

Can you use this for duct estimating?
Hi, John. We offer a specific program called FastDUCT, for HVAC sheet metal and ductwork estimating. It operates similarly to FastPIPE; the database is just specific to the HVAC duct side. But still has the same easy-to-use interface and helpful features, and is backed by our reliable customer support team. how do they know the prices of materials in your area?
Hi, Matt. We upkeep about 70 different manufacturers' list pricing in our database, where then each specific customer can factor those down with multipliers that match their local net pricing. We send out monthly pricing update files, so that when a manufacturer does revise their list prices, we can keep all customers up-to-date on those values. Any other questions, please let me know. I've been using Fastduct for about 15 years and I love it. Easy and straight forward with excellent customer service. Fastduct has more than doubled the speed of my duct takeoffs.
