Trigger clamp turned in-line/hold down clamp

With a few modifications you can turn your trigger clamp into a very effective in-line and hold down clamp while not sacrificing the main function of a trigger clamp.
WORKBENCH HACK
มุมมอง 1.8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Easy to make in-line clamp for the dog holes in your bench using a turnbuckle.
How many gallons of white flex seal did it consume for roof
What size of holes did you drill in the workbench top?
you could even use a small domino to cut the elongated slot in the actual wood domino tenon…😊
Got one at a yard sale for 5 bucks. Pivot tension handle broken. No better vise. Emmert likely
After 4 years how has the Flex Seal held up?
I laughed way too hard when you secured those elf shoes. Brilliant work my friend, keep stealing those elves shoes so you can afford more -wood- Pabst!
I like your clamps easy to make aswell many thanks Keith ❤👍👍👍
Thank you. I use fender washers on the toggle clamps, use 2 for each clamp mounted on the nuts, way faster for adjustment!
Hey, I know this is an older video but I’m doing a similar trailer and wanted to know if a gallon is enough to do the whole exterior including multiple coats?
These are fantastic!
Super useful tips.thanks.
A couple of great ideas there. Thanks.
do you have 20mm or 3/4 inch dogholes for the conduit to fit? I'm going to start drilling my dogholes but am torn as to which size to drill - 20mm of 3/4 inch! I'd rather be able to build DYI stuff like you did using conduit
Great tip. I knew this could be done, but It was great to watch. I’ve got a couple on the toolbox shop vacs and will definitely be trying this. BTW_ Hey, where’d you get the “ outdoor workbench” you use, with the match fit clamps, in the video you uploaded on the Microjig Matchfit page? The style is similar to some of the ipe projects I’ve seen you work on in videos; did you make it? Did you buy? Where? Can you show closer up how the top is assembled & how/why it works with the dovetail clamps?. Thanks much~ Lisa🛠️♿️

A DC Gear Reduced Motor with a Battery??? Pretty slick.. What is inside? Chain/Belt Drive of a 1/2 or larger Allthread? Maybe with UHMD Guides for sliders?? Thanks for showing that.. You have my brain motor running. Do you have any idea what Motor/Gearbox or Drafting table that came out of?
I like your creativity!
Most youtubers would have made a 28 min video out of all the ideas you presented here in under 7 minutes. Thanks for keeping it real!
Genius.
It never crossed my mind to use flex seal for something like this. It's brilliant.
Wow man. Fantastic
Best video I've seen lately. THANKS
Some good ideas here. Thanks.
Massive Cool 😎
You might be able to make those Blue Kreg clamps. Fabricate a plywood puck that rotates on a dog-sized dowel. Just be sure drill the puck's hole 1.5" off-center. Snug the clamp to the work object using your hand; to lock it -just strike it with your mallet. Good luck.
Where is the pattern making vise?
Great ideas, really enjoyed, thanks for sharing.
Very good tips. Your video is well presented. Take it from an experienced pro.
Brilliant, subbed!

Nice PBR shirt man!
Very Creative! Will 3/4" dogs work in a 20mm hole?
Where did you find this beauty? Everyone on eBay is charging a mint for one!
And you did most of this at work right? On the taxpayers dime?
That is absolutely bad to the bone...oh my word Awesome!
They don't make them like that anymore.
