I don't know what everyone is listening to but he's flat ALOT I don't understand why Simon is all over him. His original audition was his best performance. Every thing else is pitchy and flat all over and he pushes far beyond his abilities. The industry is amazing that they gave him what it did if you ask me.

Danyl is a great talent! It amazes me to hear judges hating on a contestant, even when he took their advice?! Pathetic. Who wouldn't have been affected when the media comes out with the 'most hated contestant' article?! Haters are jealous, which includes the two woman judges, end of story!! I LOVE Queens advice to him, and to the rest of us- BE YOURSELF!!

I was sad the risk got voted out. They would’ve definitely still been relevant today if they made the top 3 at least. As for the guy that left the group because he didn’t wana be in a boy band???? Are you kidding me????????? It’s either that or go back home and work at McDonald’s. Like seriously. At least stick it out a couple more years and then go solo. What a dummy. The risk were so good. I feel like they didn’t make it to the finals because everybody just assumed they would get millions of votes, so in turn nobody voted for them and they were eliminated. Sucks.

I have watched Danyl so many times, never fails to make me feel like the first time hearing him!

I loved watching everyone of his performances but the judges really ruint the excitement his performance by being so negative I felt so bad for him because there wasn’t anything at all wrong with any of his songs the only one was when his confidence was hurt I just felt for him. He didn’t deserve any of their hateful comments. I lost respect for all the judges but Simon. They acted like a bunch of snobby spoiled bullies. And what’s so funny I can’t seem to have any thing that stuck in my mind about any of them but I differently will remember this guy forever

I don't see how any of the judges could think Danyl was cocky or arrogant! You could see from the very beginning how humble he was. All that negative criticism plus the awful headlines just deflated his confidence, took his bright love of music and life right out of his eyes. The judges and media should feel ashamed! Could it be that each judge was mentoring other contestants, therefore, showed favoritism through unfair criticism of other judge's contestants? That's BS! 😢

First of all, I've never seen someone stoop so low as Dani did with her comment about, "If you read" blah, blah, blah -- I'm not even going to repeat it because there was absolutely NO NEED to say it! What a b***h! Who the heck cares? She's obviously old school for that to have even come to mind at all! That was such an unprofessional, cheap shot, that I would've fired her on the spot! She's gotten in her head that she's a whole lot more than SHE is. She's obviously not an International star because I've never heard of her in my life! She, Cheryl and Louie loved his audition, but they just kept henpecking about every little thing after every performance until he lost ALL confidence. THEN, they have the audacity to claim, "I don't know what happened to you, Danyl, but . . ."! Mission accomplished, AHs, because YOU three caused it! Every single one of you claimed that his audition was outstanding. You didn't say THEN that he was too cocky, so it was like telling him to keep doing what he'd done. When he did, you just spouted out hatred! ALL of you know that you can't believe half of what they publish about entertainers, and that many are completely different on stage than they are in their everyday lives, yet you made him feel like trash! You're disgusting! Even when Simon was at his worst, dishing out his insults and critique before he became a father, he never stopped as low as Dani! If I'm spelling her or Cheryl's names wrong, I don't care, because they deserve NO respect, and they're not worth the time to bother with searches. Dani's really low blow paid off, it seems. The girl standing beside her when waiting to hear the name of the winner had the most ridiculous look on her face, showing absolutely ZERO confidence, and that's a reflection on Dani, too. There are people who are very talented and great entertainers, but there's a percentage of them who are much nicer on stage than off. That's the impression I get of Dani, because if she's like that on a talent, aired nationally, not internationally, when she's not the entertainer, then she likely treats people like lowlifes when not on camera. I could be wrong, but she was the lowlife when she made that comment on air, so it tells you a log about her TRUE self. As for Danyl, it was unfair to praise his total performance -- not just his singing -- after his audition, then criticize him for doing the same in his performances after. It's hypocritical because you led him to believe that that was what made him stand out. You didn't criticize him at all! Even after you claimed he was back to the Danyl he was during his audition, which he was not, he was still trying to be who YOU wanted him to be. He's extremely talented and likeable and entertaining, but YOU caused him to lose the joy he got from performing and entertaining. You should be ashamed of yourselves! I did do a search about Danyl and an article claims that Danyl has said that Dannii [or Danni; even the article spelled it two different ways, so she's no big deal for them either] has apologized profusely and that he's forgiven her, which proves that he's a much better person than she. Her claim that it was meant to be "fun and funny" proves that she is a liar, as it was not said jokingly, and that she has a sick (or NO) sense of humor. She's likely one of the reasons the X Factor didn't survive like Got Talent has. Danyl isn't singing, but he has a podcast -- Open Doors Open Minds -- in which he discusses mental health that he enjoys doing in which he discusses mental health with his guests. He's also an ambassador for the People's Postcode Lottery, so he gets to give people money, which he likes, too. He's on social media and often gives glimpses or sneak peeks of songs, photos of his greyhound, Lois, and of his travels with friends, and he shares his love of running. The article said there must've been a joke somewhere in there that they missed, when commenting on Dannii's lowlife remarks.

I do not remember the names of the 2 women, but I never forgot Danyl's name since his audition. He was NEVER cocky. But they almost broke him. To hell with them - he is one of the top talents this show ever produced.

I love everything about him

Afinação nunca foi o forte dele. A primeira apresentação da versão do Joe Cocker ele fez mais gracinhas do que cantou. Na segunda apresentação do mesmo programa ele entrou na canção totalmente fora do tom e não conseguiu achar se achar até ao final. Definitivamente alguém o enganou dizendo que ele canta bem. Não sei se com o passar do tempo ele melhorou.

OMG. I had no idea how much Danyl went through because I never saw him again after his first brilliant and singular first audition. He deserved to win simply because of his toughness in the face of all that snarky hating to which he was subjected! I wish him the best, wherever he is, and hope he never gives up. And Simon, jerk that he can be, is to be forever commended. This was as close to a nightmare as I have ever soon. And couldn't believe how, when Louie couldn't bash him, he bashed the choir. This is an embarrassment only to the other three judges -- whatever their names are.

These judges psychologically broke him. Shame on them!! Their behavior was unacceptable!! Disgusted me!!

He is not cocky. They are dreaming. I feel terrible that they said that to him. They got him wrong. Simon is right. Love his singing.
