What does Thanasis Antetokounmpo ACTUALLY Do?
Thanasis Antetokounmpo is actually an incredibly important NBA Player, especially for the Milwaukee Bucks, who are lead by Thanasis's brother, Giannis and Damian Lillard.
Whilst many fans just think Thanasis is a useless NBA who sucks, his role within the Bucks is so important.
Udonis Haslem, someone who shares a similar role to Thanasis, just got his number retired by the Miami Heat, showing how much Udonis, despite not impacting the game directly through playing big minutes, meant to Miami and their success.
Other players like James Johnson, Andre Iguodala and Jeff Green are so important for their relevant teams (Indiana Pacers, Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets) and these teams wouldn't be half as successful without them.
I hope through this video a new light is shined on just how important these players are to their teams success, and whilst they aren't winning games with their crazy talent, they are so so valuable to their NBA teams.

Why Luka Doncic Will Be The Most Hated MVP Ever
มุมมอง 39Kปีที่แล้ว
Ever since Luka Doncic entered the NBA and got traded to the Dallas Mavericks from the Atlanta Hawks for Trae Young, media and fans have constantly criticised his game. Saying that he is not a winner, can't play defence, he is a cry baby etc... Because of this media bias, despite nearly averaging a triple double and carrying his team into the playoffs, Luka Doncic is currently ranked 5th on the...
Why Sengun is NOT the Next Jokic
มุมมอง 75Kปีที่แล้ว
Alperen Sengun is NOT the Next Nikola Jokic. Ime Udoka has unleashed Sengun on the Houston Rockets, by changing his role to be the central hub of their offence. This has allowed Sengun to showcase his full range of playmaking and scoring talents, not just his beautiful post game. This has led to further comparisons with MVP, Finals MVP and Championship winning Denver Nugget, Nikola Jokic. Sengu...
Tyrese Haliburton is the Smartest Player in the NBA. Why?
มุมมอง 1.2Kปีที่แล้ว
Tyrese Haliburton is Breaking The NBA. Currently he is averaging 12 assists whilst shooting an insane 52.5% from the Field. Tyrese and the Indiana Pacers are taking the NBA by storm, with their high paced, high scoring offence, led by Tyrese. They recently upset the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks at the brand new, NBA In Season Tournament in the Quarter and Semi Finals. Eventually losing to...
Why Anthony Edwards Is Every Teams Nightmare
มุมมอง 57Kปีที่แล้ว
Anthony Edwards is a NIGHTMARE for NBA Teams, both on Offence and Defence and is drawing comparisons and being named The "Modern Michael Jordan." However, I'm not 100% sold on that comparison. He has proven to be an elite 3 level scorer, shooting nearly 50% on Catch and Shoot 3's this season. Ant has a capable Mid Range game and is an elite finisher at the rim thanks to his strength and athleti...
Exposing Boston's Unique Defensive Secrets
มุมมอง 12Kปีที่แล้ว
The Boston Celtics have deployed some very unique defensive strategies so far this season, such as having Jrue Holiday guard Joel Embiid, a full court press and some very rare, but high effective Pick and Roll Defensive Strategies. These unique strategies have helped them to high level wins over Eastern Conference rivals, The Philadelphia 76ers, and they are currently in the Semi Finals in the ...

absolutely amazing breakdown of why and why not he should be the mvp but I really think he should but unfortunately Jokic won it already he is averaging near triple doubles and carrying his teammates to the nba finals but sadly his teammates did not show up to how they played all year round or maybe it's because of Boston's defence

idk what you are on about with his shooting. 30% is not respectable efficiency at his low volumes. He also doesn't have a great midrange game like you said. Instead going to this really unique push shot floater thingy a lot.

Although, is he really there to be a veteran leader or is he there to be Giannis's bodyguard? Like if Giannis did something that his teammates didn't like would Thanasis be there to just defend him and worsen team chemistry or would he be able to check his brother? I really think he's more of an Austin Rivers than a Udonis Haslem where his presence could just be there to reinforce Giannis's ego

We all know Luka is the real MVP but because of the media, he is the most disrespected, hated, underrated superstar for the past 5 years. The same player that got outvoted by Booker for MVP, the same player that had to come off the bench in the all star game because he got 0 votes from the media and gave it to Morant instead for no reason. That same player is currently the 1st player in the history of basketball to average 34/8/8. Not enough? Scored the 4th most points of 73 in a basketball game on 91% TS, scores the most triple doubles, #1 in post defense, #10 in iso defense, top 7 in steals, career-high in SPG, APG PPG, 3PT%, FT%, just .4% under in FG%, and MPG, continues to put up MVP stat lines while injured, #1 in scoring alone, #1 in points produced by a MILLION MILES at 57 PPG, 3rd in assists, top 20 in rebounding as a 6'7 POINT GUARD, 16-6 in clutch games, #1 clutch team in the NBA, #1 MOST DOUBLED PLAYER IN THE NBA, and ALL of this with the MOST INJURED ROSTER IN THE NBA, Irving out 22 games and lost all star status, Lively out for 18 games, and STILL lead the franchise to a winning record in the west as a playoff 6th seed and CLIMBING now that everyone is actually healthy. Luka is not only the best guard but the best player of the face of the NBA currently. Greatness and MVP caliber!!!

, coach Andrews you have no right analyzing this young man we know he has defensive deficiencies and he is working on them I don't know what kind of Coach you are but a girl's basketball team may need you in this country you might want to shop around for a job you're too blind to see that this is the best player in the NBA right now defensive liability or not...... I think if you watch the All-Star game yesterday you'll realize and not much defense has played. And it's getting worse as long as Luca goes out and gives effort on defense and drop 40 points 15 rebounds 12 assist couples steals he'll be the best basketball player in the world....... there's a lot of girls teams looking for coaches Indiana you'd fit right in?

You can't argue he's a legit MVP, and top 5 player is nothing to scoff at. His scoring volume is barely above SGA, and per 100 it's negligible, but he's also a less efficient scorer. He's a better volume playmaker than SGA by a fait bit, but his TOV's are almost double. He's definitely the better rebounder, which is an issue OKC has, but otherwise SGA has a slight edge in box score stats. So, SGA is a more efficient scorer and still elite playmaker who is at the top when it comes to minimizing turnovers which is a shade below Luka as an offensive package, but whatever advantage Luka has on SGA is made up for defensively. I say all this because SGA isn't Jokic, who is going to deservedly win MVP, yet I'd argue SGA still has. Slight edge on Luka, and just about every advanced metric shows this. Even if you disagree, you are delusional if you don't recognize SGA is the closest superstar statistically to Luka and plays better defense. Then add in the fact that Dallas really isn't good enough to win a ring and their best player doesn't deserve an MVP. Oh, it's his team you say, put Jokic in the same spot and they are contending, because without him the Nuggets aren't that good. So yea, he's a great player who puts up ridiculous numbers because he has a ridiculous usage rate, and while yes, he has improved, he's just not the best player in the NBA. He's top-5, which is not slander considering who his company is, and it's time to stop pretending otherwise.

Lukas a longshot simply because there are 10 players as good as him offensively and almost all of them play defense and shoot better and have fewer turnovers. As a result if he ever wins mvp it will be based on team record or some historic feat like averaging a triple double. It will prevent him from falsely collecting the award the way embiid did, meaning he wont be hated if he wins one. If he doesnt i wont be surprised. Hes on the wrong team. Dirk should have at least 2 mvps.

I disagree on the best shot in basketball being, in order of importance: free throws, dunks, and layups all beating out the corner 3. Statistically-speaking the corner 3 has the highest scoring percentage in the NBA. In fact, Joe even said exactly that in a pressor just a week or 2 ago.

In their championschip year they also got P.J. Tucker for this reason. And I don't think Pat Bev was brought in just for his defense. With the Bucks I have the feeling they need two, a good cop like Thanasis and a bad cop like P.J. or Pat. Whether Pat can save the season is another question, but he's certainly good for the team, just like Thanasis

Stephen A Smith is a racist that the fact!!! He promote just black players. While Luka ofcourse is white and thats why he hate him. Stephen A Smith is a racist that the fact!!! They don't like Luka, cos he is not the right color. Face it, that the truth. Media and NBA are racists againt white!! Thats the agenda from so called liberal media and directive all over the World, to be against white people. We see this everywhere. Luka is complete opposite of beliefs how basketball player should look. Luka is white and from pretty wealthy family. And this are 2 complete opposite things compared to traditional NBA players. Face it. Luka is white and he is THE BEST!!! of all time. Anyone who thinks against this is racist!!! That fact!

Luka will not get a MVP. We saw how the analysts went crzy when a white plyer won it last year. ESPN actually gets rid of baskerball personalities because the race baiting was costing them viewers. Free your mind and the rest will follow. Be color blind dont be so shallow. Is good advice. Luka is learning from Kyrie and visa versa. Both of them have elevated their game a testimony to Jason Kidd's coaching.
