Ever consider doing a headers with the cat attachment mod that's out there?
Id recommend getting the lighest n best on rolling resistance wheels n tires you can. I removed about 23lbs per corner with getting 10lb bbs wheels and continental tires to replace the oem steelies and heavy cheap tires. It's ridiculously quick. Did your car feel or get quicker at all? The aem advertises 8ish HP gains

i have an 18 elantra gt. i’ve been told to look for a cold air intake from a 2018 Kia forte with the same 2.0 motor. i haven’t got one yet but that’s what i was told to do

No chamge means its a useless mod.
Any change in your avg MPG??? (L per 100km)?.. I am looking to get one, but Yonaka has never done a before and after dyno run.. So I am not sure if it has any minor ill effect on performance
I actually havent seen any difference at all. I also have the AEM intake and it still has good mpg

Did you have an issue with the gasket they provide? I’ve got mine installed but you can hear an exhaust leak from the flange.
I actually haven’t. I’ve taken my exhaust off a few times to clean and polish and it held up fine. Maybe it isn’t tightened enough?

Just 2 exhaust hangers and 2 bolts. Not too bad, no welding

I didn't have to do anything with the maf. Was a drop in part.

I hate that the tip bends like that, why can’t it be straight out? I bought an OBX R muffler that looks similar to the Yonaka one used for civics and it looks much better.
I 100% agree. I think they did it to aim most of the sound towards the ground to make it quieter. I have purchased a second Yonaka axleback used for $50. I am going to cut the muffler off and straight pipe the axle back to an exhaust tip out of the lower bumper valance. If its too loud, Ill have the spare original Yonaka axleback to weld an exhaust tip to

how kms u running on with the intake installed? cus i have warranty up to 100,000 and didnt wanna jeopardize that if its going to act up withing the warranty
@@ajdipaulo1351 as long as it is installed correctly, and kept clean appropriately you should be ok! At the end of the day if there is an issue with warranty it is the manufacturer who needs to prove that the failure was caused by you or a modification
@@ajdipaulo1351 There is something in America called the Magnusson-Moss act that allows us to modify cars/do our own maintenance under warranty and if something breaks/fails, the dealer has to prove it was the part that caused the failure. Thisisnothere14 said it best.
I’ve got the same front lip and exhaust I just recently put in a mesh grill and was looking to get this intake. Not too many people try to modify this car but glad I found this video
Dude, we live really close, like within a few blocks. I knew that park looked familiar. I have been looking for exhaust for my sonata n-line, so that's probably why this came up, but TH-cam recommended does it again.
