Do you know how to charge this at home?

the USB was kind of broken in the video lol, nothing major but still funny

I just had to use my GOOLOO GP4000 earlier for the first time. After hooking up the cables, the other car would not start. I saw the boost button and pressed it. The car cranked up. I just had to search TH-cam on how to properly use it since I did not read any of the instructions. 😄

I had this version and I accidentally let it discharge which, for some reason prevented the USB-C from charging it. I had to fix it by taking the unit apart and forcing a charge into the lithium batteries. It wasn’t as bad as I thought, but it’s just one of those things to just remind people to do not let it fully run out of charge. The GOOLOO team may have fixed this since I bought mine, but if anyone runs into a scenario where it won’t charge putting just a little charge into the lithium batteries should tell the controller that the battery is there thus allowing it to charge.

I have started a hummer h2 with a dead battery just push the boost button on the side and its ok

Had this a while. Just plugged it in to charge to first time after quite some time and it won’t charge up

Tried the 2000 and the 3000 on my Range Rover. Either would start the car. Not impressed

Just got one, the only mildly frustrating thing about it is how hard it is to read when the suns out

I’m pretty sure this will boost a 6 litre diesel and up to an 8 litre gas engine ( I was looking at GP 4000s and GP 2000s etc so I might have mixed up the engine sizes ) On the plug that the cables are attached to there is a red light and a green light as well as a small “ boost “ button for batteries that are pretty much dead. Push that button and within about 20-30 seconds that little thing will start 5he engine right up.

Can I ask how long you've had this unit for? If it's been a while, has it lasted? My concern with Lithium polymer batteries is that they puff up after a while.

Bought one in may 2023. Defective from the start, doesn't hold a charge. Contacted them. They do not honor the valid warranty. Typical chinese way of doing business...

They will never honor the warranty if you have a defective unit like the one I purchased!! Even with proof of purchase!! Typical chinese way of doing business....

After only 1 month it loses 50% of its charge even if I never used it....don't buy Gooloo....

Was not strong enough to jump start a 2017 Honda Pilot 3.5L V6. Very disappointed.

Only press boost if it is blinking green. Blinking means the battery is very low and needs the extra boost. No waiting for AAA. With all the new 💩 in vehicles from gps to everything else people are reluctant to help you jump your vehicle because of damaging sensitive parts. With long cables you could be waiting a long time. Teach the drivers in your family how to use the jump box. Put the cables on then plug into the jump box. Turn key to on and watch the gauges go up. Like the gas gauge. Then turn the key to start. WOW you did it. Now unplug the jump box then remove cables from the battery. Done 😃

What does the S stand for un the GT4000S?

AAA is great for flat tire changes but for a quick jump start then jump starters come in very handy. No waiting around for AAA. Also you don’t need another vehicle like you do with jumper cables. You may even have cables but people are reluctant to help in fear of harming something in there electric system in there vehicles. Teach all the drivers in your family how to use these portable jump starters. You could also bail someone else out some day. Test your alternator with the jump starter. Once your vehicle starts remove one cable. If the vehicle quits you need an alternator. If it keeps running it’s the battery. 😁

I own the same jumper. I’m liking where you placed the black negative clamp to ground and not the battery ground. 👍

I have one of these haven't had it long, It won't charge past 68% , , only used it hand full of times ..

Wouldn't even start my 2015 Toyota RAV4, whose battery died in the morning. New battery installed, everything good.

I love mine, it has payed for itself many times over..

Misleading. Not 42% off at all.

I bought my Gooloo less than a year ago. Fully charged it. Never used it. After only 1 month sitting there battery is down more than 50% therefore unusable...only 1 month. Recharged, same results....contacted service via email, they say they are on vacation lol....oh well....

My 4000a gooloo will be solid green, but when I hit the boost button it clicks off and turns solid red. Will not turn over anything

even the gooloo is junk, it starts beeping then u hve to wait 10 minutes to try again in real world

replaced my avapow 6000a disappointment with this. thing works great (common rail cummins)

This is a darn good boost box. I have 2 of them

My gooloo only charges to 3 bars and turns off. Any help to fix that?
