I have the Performance trim.

It's no longer a risk for Tesla owners to use the emergency lever to open the door. With power to the vehicle, the window will roll down when the lever is pulled. It's only 'dangerous' when there's no power. But when there's no power, it's necessary to use it and risk breaking the glass.

Unfortunately, no. At least for the Performance trim. These are very specific tires to ensure the vehicle has the nicest and safest ride. Tires are probably one of the only things in a car that you don't want to be "cheap" with. Being "cheap" with tires will result in more frequent changes, which will cost more over time... and could cause more damage to the vehicle over time, too.

Absolutely! It's a great list for sure! Wish I had it when I took delivery. Thankfully there was no issues with the functionality of the car. Hopefully the same can go for you and your Tesla next week!

Great question! Unfortunately, I am not sure about that. This checklist was a generic Model 3 checklist, so I would say it’s safe to assume that all trims have these features.

The screen protector came with a little squeegee thing. Helped tremendously with the bubbles. The dust, unfortunately, will be on the screen if not cleaned regularly. It’s just something that’s inevitable. Lol

Sunlight seems to help the drying process. The damp towel helps get/keep water spots off of the car. Thankfully, I do have a PPF and a Ceramic Coat, so it may be different if it’s just on the paint. The water pressure issue wasn’t from the bleeding. There was a bent hose way off in the back later on after I was recording. I will agree with the label on the towels. Those should be ripped off, however, I’m always careful to not let that touch the car.

@@Bdrussell4 sunlight dries water (and whatever is in it) onto the car, the right way to dry a car is to completely remove the water, not evaporate it.

@@danpaul4975 I second that - sun can be a blessing and a curse. On those hot days if you’re able to dry in covered areas you might save yourself from the ever allusive hard water spots

Unfortunately, bad experiences happen to more people than not. This is to just prepare people for something wrong to happen. I didn't claim that everyone has had a bad experience, I just said "chances are".

@@Bdrussell4 Where are you getting this data that a majority of people have bad experiences to make this assumption? There’s a saying that The minority are always louder than the majority. The negative Tesla people you read online and who make inaccurate videos like this one may have had a bad experience but that’s NOT the majority of Tesla owners. According to consumer reports, Tesla owners have the highest overall satisfaction rating.

I went to a service center in Orlando last week to get some basic routine maintenance done on the car. They said their Q2 numbers shows more delivery issues than not. This would include minor issues like mine (paint defects, window defects). Straight from the source themselves. I’m not discounting the fact that there are perfectly built cars out there, I’m just saying there’s more issues straight from the source. Outside of that, I would have to agree that Tesla has the highest satisfaction rating. It is a pretty awesome car, to say the least!

Thank you! And yes, I 100% agree. The Blue makes the car look very, very good! Definitely glad I went with that option.
