Episode 9 Rock Art: Swirls Painting #rocknerd #geologyrocks #rockart
This Rock Art "Swirls" painting was done on a cardboard "makeshift" canvas. The cardboard was first painted on the front. The design was created loosely off the inspiration of Van Gogh's A Starry Night. The design was painted on the canvas using paint markers, using different colors as a guide for the rocks that would be placed on them. The rocks were painted ahead of time using my special "rock painting technique" see my video th-cam.com/video/_P6S5MACg9w/w-d-xo.html
The design was outlined with glue "Aileen's Turbo Tacky Glue" (the gold bottle is the glue that starts out white and dries clear).
