What a College Coach looks for while Recruiting
I'm working on a homemade throwing machine. I don't have anyone to play catch anymore and it sucks.
Great video man!! This was a great thorough understanding of the B1 unit.
Thanks brotha I just started doing this for a minor league team in Cali and this has been very informative and helpful 🤙🏼
Thats awesome! I am glad I can help. That is the whole point of starting this channel. Thank you for sharing that with me. If you have any other topics you would like me to cover let me know!
What does it look like to actually operate a TrackMan while someone is pitching?
The screen on an iPad or tablet will automatically refresh with the new data a few seconds after the pitch. On the left side you will see a pitch log with the number of pitches thrown during the session. You can click on each individual one and it will show all the data again for that pitch. Rapsodo works the same way just a slightly different user interface.
I don’t think you actually pitched from either the stretch or wind up in the video. It would be helpful if you put the sequence together and shows a wind-up pitch.
Jaime, Thank you for your feedback! You are correct that I did not complete an entire delivery but if you to go 1:33 on the video I describe how to set up and begin moving. Once you begin moving then it is just your normal throw from there. Same thing with the stretch at 2:05 in the video. I describe the set up and from there it is your normal pitching mechanics. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
i think he did a decent job though of showing the differences of the feet movement - that will basically tell you if you are in the stretch or windup
Thanks for this happy I found this channel cause I’m trying to learn how to pitch so I can play for my high school Also let’s go yanks
Thank you for your comment! I am hoping to have some more videos posted fairly soon. If you are looking for lessons or programs check out bettereachpitch.com I can help you specifically try to make the high school team!

" alls were do eeeen"
Great video helped a lot, thank you
That's great to hear! Thank you!
hi Trevor
Noice bro👌
Dang it
What age would you recommend the massage gun and the copmpax
It can be helpful for all ages. I wouldn't worry about it at all until at least High School if it were me. There are a bunch of other methods to use first that will be very beneficial. The movement day is probably the best thing you can do at any level.
Can you make a video on how to take care of your arm as a youth pitcher and should youth pitcher use arm bands driveline balls or a shoulder tube
Yes. I'll make a recovery based video for you. Keep an eye out in the next week or so! All of those things are safe for a youth player when done properly with correct movement, coaching and number of repetitions. They can all tremendously help but can also hurt you. Bands will probably be the best place to start for youth players. Cross over symmetry and Jager Bands are both good brands that have good routines.
