Very cool - a bit nerdy their style on Peace Sells - that was what set them apart in a good way! Was blasting that out of my room’s window in my parents house 30+ years ago - ha!
This performance is hands down the greatest live rendition of *Peace Sells*.

Nick meant every single hit on that drum kit, he was the most amazing, organic, real drummer this band has ever had. RIP legend Nick Menza.
this almost rivals seattle 89... but once again, why was metallica doing 2 hours in 89 and megadeth doing a 50 minute set in 92? by that time metallica was playing for fucking 3.5 hours with no opener.

Maybe a couple of beers and a few joints, but certainly not completely wasted. The real drug time was after the gig. It is well documented on the internet cases of musicians performing whilst high or drunk and the result is a terrible concert.
@@gustavomarques4097 Dave definitely got sloshed after the concerts, but it’s well known that he played and performed exceptionally well under the influence and wrote his best stuff intoxicated. It’s horrible to say, but I believe it’s true. Dude was using 24/7. My favorite band ever and Dave is my hero but he definitely had some musical benefits from anger, drugs, and alcohol. Long live MD 🤘🏻
