I owned a Raleigh Safety Seven in the early 1950s. Reg was RV3008. Myself and a Mate drove it all the way down to Lands End one Summer on a camping trip. It had an electric fuel pump which started playing up now and again, which we managed to sort out with a piece of sticking plaster under a couple of fibre rollers in the pump. Otherwise, the car just kept going. I actually drove it from Poole to Dorchester for my driving test,which I passed first time. I don’t think the examiner wanted to see it back again! It was a pretty rare car even in those days and it is nice to see a few have been preserved.

Wasn't capable of beating a GPZ600r or out accelerating an RD350LC YPVS. My B2 was virtually brand new, so no engine problems and I was nuts fast on any bike, so knew how to max it out.
