Haha ya I love the raptor. I’m loving the DS650 though too. Yall need to get down here and ride with us.

He had better luck in the really rough stuff than I did for sure. I’ve had great results with my Holleshots for years, just not a fan of this GNCC version. They look good but I haven’t cared for their performance. But they have been durable, no punctures or holes so far.

My son did the same thing with his old 250ex too.

The white 400ex has an HMF exhaust, the red scrambler has a factory exhaust with an FMF silencer.

It doesn’t matter what you ride, just get out and ride. Both are great choices. Quads are a little more beginner friendly.

It’s an awesome park! I’ve gotta get Nathan’s back together(again) so we can go hit a few more places there. We’ve barely touched the map honestly. It’s the largest offroad park in America.

It really is. We’ve got to get a group ride together here. Everyone would really like it I think.

I can’t remember those dang lights lol. I had to cut most of the real mud stuff because the camera got so muddy and we were so muddy I couldn’t touch the camera lol.

It’s hard to beat the ole Bayous. He rode his until it caught on fire lol. These are some great trails. Just not a technical trail system. We will take you hill climbing here if you ever make it this way.

They are in Sevier County. Some people call it Webb Mountain. Feel free to hit me up on instagram or through email and I’ll give you some details about it.

Yes sir it is nice, but we don’t ride them to the trails. We just park a short distance from the trails. These are only about twenty minutes from the house. Some of the best hill climbing in East Tennessee though.

It’s a very different ride for sure. It’s hard to just straight up compare because the machines themselves are so vastly different. The DS is so much bigger physically than a raptor, stock or otherwise. They are both comfortable machines. In stick trim I believe the DS is way more comfortable, a widened and slightly lowered raptor is a very comfortable machine in and of itself as well.

It really is a gorgeous place that I’m blessed to ride in.

It’s like comparing apples and oranges. Two vastly different machines. A raptor is no slouch in the comfort department and raptors are so easy to ride. When going fast on rough stuff, this DS is hard to beat, it has so much suspension.

I’m finding that because of how massive the park is, there are lots of great trails to ride on. There are plenty that are way to rough for what I like, but there is a plethora of really good ones.

It’s way more comfortable than the Raptor. It’s a very different machine for sure. But it is so comfortable. When I get all the little bearing and bushing stuff worked out it will be even better.

@@easttennesseetrailriders7999 heck yeah. Would be cool to see a comparison video on the two just because you hardly ever see the DS’s in the wild

@@JacksonOffroad25that would be cool. I’ve got a subscriber with a sweet yellow DS. It would be nice to do some side by side comparisons with the raptors and his.

Motor parts are easy look up bmw f650 its the ds650 engine!!!!!

Haha I’ve got several more videos that I need to get out still. Two more from windrock and one more from a local ride spot.

I like the feel of it, but parts availability is no joke. Theres some things I’m currently looking for but can’t get aftermarket, and factory is discontinued.

You can get every single part you need for the motor from a company called team pami. Harder to find because they’re in Germany so not many know about them but I’ve got a crank rebuild kit main bearings new oem piston and a few others for mine, I got the parts in about a week so it’s pretty quick to the US. They also sell strokers, cams, big bore kits, and just bout everything. I recently got one of the 2 oem swing arm bushings left in the nation and I’ll be making some more on a lathe. My bone stock ds has beat a brand new stock raptor and a ported piped and high comp banshee.

@@easttennesseetrailriders7999if you need a arms fireball racing makes them and for swing arms of any length full flight racing will gladly make them if you email them.

@@easttennesseetrailriders7999 yeah no problem and when I make some of these bushings would you be interested in buying them? I just got the oem bushing last week like I said being one of 2 left in the nation so I’ll have to measure it get some brass stock and make some.
