A/C Solenoid you referring to the A/C magnetic clutch. This is controlled by the A/C control unit and not by the engine ECU. The only thing the ECU can offer in regard to the A/C is an idle up to compensate for Compressor drag down causing lower idle RPM. This is not really an issue with the V8's but if a person wants to include such a feature, then can be created much like the idle up for the power steering using a VSV valve activated by the clutch power supply causing an air addition to the intake manifold and therefore increasing idle speed.

Litterally says at the start it has a 3UZ in it. Its an engine swap, ofc the light is on, its likely not compatible so not hooked up. Same for check engine its for things that arent hooked up because not compatible

Lexus did this as a test run with Chip Foose as a beginning of the IFS> Engine light is an indication or error to check codes which are flash-able,, now days to suit the application .. Not back then. Still the IS is a great body for a proper power plant.

Hi. What do you need for your engine? Has it already been wired or do you want your wiring done for a stand alone so it can be built into another vehicle?

We do not make extention harneesses. The way we do it is to have a double cavity ecu box and use the vaccuume from the radiator shroud to cool the ecu. This is the same as the Lexus/Toyota do it. What ECU box are you using or did you make your own?

@@lexusv8enginesllc278 I had to make my own box, the stock ls430 box wouldn't fit unless I relocate the battery,but I'm still looking into it I was just wondering.

We can bypass any of the 2UZ veriants. Which one do you have?

@@pietvantonder7628 Piet. That was a 2UZ non vvt in the video. We can do the 2UZ VVT too but judging from your name i would say you from South Africa? @@lexusv8enginesllc278 I have not. I just don’t know that much about putting the 3uz into a 3rd gen. I’ve only seen 1uz and 2uz swaps besides the cartunenz guys in new zealand

@@johngacy6367 1 2 and 3UZ are basically the same platform. One can be pulled out and the other put in with little to no mod. 3UZ is a great engine and offers good power. I just prefer the torque curve of the 3UZ. 2UZ is a good engine but just a bit heavy and the torque curve is more suited to a heavy SUV.

Our number is 305 619 5355. At the moment the cost is $490 for the wiring. This includes the fuse box and will be a three wire to start.

We are based in Florida but do wiring for clients all over USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Client did not want A/C installed into the engine harness. Easily added though. Basically just an idle up when installed and there are a few ways to achieve that. Makes very little difference anyway considering its a V8. If your idle is dropping too far and giving you trouble give us a shout and we will help you get it sorted out.
