The locked door was never meant to be opened, then our players complained enough that, well, we just let them open it. That's all. Gave the people what they wanted, enjoy unlock wexp etc as for arcus I didn't use him on my recent run (and I do gotta say he specifically makes a section of a later map easier solo) but I do usually run him for act 3 despite my usual playing speed and what I do with him is just have se'Mori rescuedrop him to a high density area and make him tank a lot of dudes at once.

Whenever I get around to playing this, I'm going to have to try and figure out what's going on with that area behind the locked door. Though, ten deploy slots this late into the game... not a far of that, honestly.

Can't wait for the comment plot twist that you need certain character to get it in that empty tile beyond locked door. Like Rena perhaps? 👀

Yeah the shadow is because I didn't realize all the other gba shadows have theirs end about a px under their feet and it was too late to change (im lazy and it's inserted and taking too much rom space) so an oops from me really

Also the hell, your trisha is so cracked. She has almost perfect stats but has access only to sword.

Btw i heard that thief/rogue has very little worth in this rom hack. One stealable item and the rom hack gives you a lot of chest and sells more. I don't know the point of thief existence in this rom hack.

Thyra's crit animation is cool, but something about the pixel art makes it look like she has a thong on. Which isn't a bad thing per se, because MOMMY! I must admit, the deploy slot count in this hack seems a little low for my liking. Although that could just be because I've been playtesting BDB, where I gave the player a LOT of deploy slots.

Wow the promoted lords (Arcus reminds me of the Black Knight), Rena kinda reminds me of Ashnard although less evil and more regal for sure) animations look amazing and even the non-lord ones, new character sprites too! Surprised there have been no new Knight units just that one girl near the beginning, wondering what they promote into (Baron maybe) and how the animation looks. Keep up the great episodes and hope you had a great New Years!

Btw my strategy would be just put a lot of light users as much as possible since they can fight generals and horse units by thani and that's it. That's how you abused the most op light tome ever. I am thinking that this rom hack in which all the women and small children are op but 50% of men suck at it.

Also, the wyvern rider who joins in this chapter being named Bellona made me laugh, because I have a female wyvern rider with the same name in Black Dragon Beginnings. Might be time to get back to work on that project...

Ah Maurice. Even when you win, you lose. Also, yeah, this is not exactly a better ending. Krinya is a ticking time bomb here now that she has a bunch of stress thrust upon her. Sicko Mode is not far away. Multiple endings in a game are always cool. This hack did a Code of the Black Knights, only it's actually fun to play!
