Конечно, я далеко не Анжела, но зато русский. Слово "шикарно" используется в разных контекстах, но не как приветствие. Как описание: "Ты сегодня так шикарно одета!". Как утверждение: "Мы сегодня идём в клуб, ты с нами? -Шикарно, я с вами!" Зачастую это слово ещё сокращают до "Шик", есть такое словосочетание "Шик-блеск-огонь", означающее что-то СВЕРХРОСКОШНОЕ, но это уже молодёжный сленг

Hello Майкл, I can assure you that you have enough time to reach your goal. I'd recommend you to focus on getting to the level where you're able to understand native content (like blogs or modern movies). Then your next goal would be continuing listening to native content and step by step get comfortable with modern russian literature. And after that I guess you could slowly dive into russian literature of 19th century starting with short tales of writers of this period. I'd be very interested and glad to record something about music terminology, I enjoyed a lot learning it myself when I learnt to play piano. However, I believe that for now I should focus on more common things for learners without musical degree. P.S.: you can always book a lesson with me and I'll show you all basic musical theory in russian via comprehensible input approach. Cheers!

Hey. Sorry, this method doesn't assume using translation to other language. I can assure you that you'll get much better level of comprehension if you just keep on watching such videos without translation (but please stay focused while watching, it's important).
