I definitely do this all the time. I spent years in middle school able to sing soprano, but often deferring to alto or tenor and now, my range has lost a bit of the higher soprano notes, but remains fairly steady between Eb3 and Ab5

Glinda is such a complicated character. She is certainly very selfish and shallow at the beginning of the movie but obviously she starts to become a better person throughout. I think at the end of the movie she was too early in her redemption arc to sacrifice everything and go with Elphaba, so she ended up backtracking instead. She definitely made the wrong decision though.
I hear you but when asked if Elphaba was her friend she shrank and said yes then NO and she sat the witch statue thing on fire - she never fully redeems herself

@@GirlConductor no ur definitely right. at the end of the day she cared more about being seen as a good person rather than actually being one. she’s the complete inverse of elphaba which is what makes their friendship so compelling (and more interesting than either of their romances with Fiyero in my opinion)
