I like all kinds of music!

WOW...this takes me back. A bunch of Marist Communications Majors had to put together a short info film on a local non profit, and asked me to hook them up. MANY of the speakers in this video are dead: Pete, Saul, Baldino. Since the students put this together for second semester, they missed the sailing season ( being aboard the Woody), and the unveiling that year of the River Beacons mural, which the club sponsored on Main Street, painted by local artist, Rick Price. My only real criticism is they failed to incorporate interviews filmed with women/ people of color who were very much involved with the BSC.

Great idea to have the Cafe for Teens! They can express themselves with music and art much like my generation did at the club in the 70's!

Proud to have this organization in my hometown. I remember the park when it was a dump in the 60's. Look how far they've come! And the festivals they organize - Strawberry, corn and pumpkin to name three every year draw big crowds and so enjoyable.

Both pieces tell the story enough to get many parts of it all across - now others must find it within themselves to give a little bit more of themselves to expand their own understanding of these issues - and realize - a 'Collective Will' that grows stronger each day may eventually right great wrongs in this world.
