Puis je féliciter toutes ces interprètes féminines , flûtistes à bec , qui apportent à leur instrument préféré ses lettre de noblesse , par leur sérieux , leur virtuosité souvent , leur art de la transcription où Bach tient si souvent la place qui lui revient , et qui me permet moi même en tant qu'amateur très moyen , de ressentir l'énergie qui ressort de sa musique.

I always call the recorder the wind violin because it’s in the key as a violin (though your note range is limited to I believe 4 octaves)
