    Haha the 2amps are @ 3.7v because you're shorting the battery. If someone expect 2amps @ 30 volts this not gonna happen with this joule thief circuit.

    Aqui no Brazil o brilho da lâmpada aumenta no sentido horário e no seu está aumentando o brilho no sentido anti-horário. Está ao contrário de como se usa aqui no Brazil. Ficou bem simples e muito eficiente o circuito. Parabéns! Apenas observei este detalhe no giro do potenciômetro. Um abraço.

      Stupid is that comment. Transistors are used for control state of circuit. Sometimes it is demanded to cause certain effect, turn something on or off. Single ON/OFF switch can't do it.
