CAMP MAG+S is a new tradition at St. Peter Claver High School, a Jesuit boarding secondary school in Dodoma, Tanzania. Instituted and facilitated by American Jesuits, Fr. TJ Martinez SJ and Fr. Derrick Weingartner SJ, along with Jesuit Volunteers, Roxanne De La Torre and Jamie Richardson, CAMP MAG+S endeavors to instill leadership skills rooted in Ignatian Spirituality into the lives of all students at SPCHS. Through activities, lectures, and spirituality sessions founded on teamwork, cooperation, trust, team spirit, and sportsmanship, SPCHS students are able to begin to discover the true individuals that God is calling them to be.
Our first CAMP MAG+S events at St. Peter Claver High School in 2013 were a huge success! We can't wait to see how it continues to evolve in the years to come!!!
