Absolutely using NPI #'s are first party data.
This is wildly inaccurate. HubSpot' Sales Pro and Enterprise both allow you to leverage linkedin requests and messages, phone calls, and tasks along with automanted (and manual) emails. I'm sorry you have been misinformed and not using the tools that are included. This is pure misinformation.
Thank you, this particular video was created almost 2 years ago since then HubSpot has upgraded with offering more automation which is great to see. Based on your feedback I will be creating a updated video.

Not sure when Apollo added this feature, but Apollo does let you automate the LinkedIn connection requests. I do 25 at a time and it works very well. I just did this today. You are correct that LinkedIn does limit the number of connection requests per week to about 200.
Yes I recently came across this as well Apollo finally updated to an automated process versus completing a manual task. This is a well over due upgrade and glad they implemented. I'm still going to using Walaaxy because it let's me send a bulk automated message to those I'm connected with so it keeps track of all my connections which is a really nice feature. Hello Jason, thank you for your video! I have a question - lets say I will send 100 connection requests via this automation. What if some of these contacts will deny my connection request? Will these leads still be shown in Apollo as not finished and there will be still tasks for sending connection requests for those who denied me previously? Will be glad to hear from you :)
Great question. As long as you complete the task to connect on LinkedIn it doesn't matter if they accept or deny your request the sequence will continue to the next step.

Great video! I'm trying to set up individual active lists based off contacts in the sequence opening each email we send - so I can use the lists in lead scoring. Do you know a way to do this? Annoyingly, template ID's can only be used as a filter in reporting, not lists or workflows, so i'm limited on triggers/actions based on opens of sequence emails because of this.
Each of the sales sequence there is reporting to see the individual people who opened the email and how many times they did. For sales sequences these are the only reports, the marketing portion has a way to set up lead scoring. I hope this helps, if not let me know.

Great question. The National Provider Identifier numbers are all available for download per HIPPA and Medicare and anyone can download it here at npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov/ We take the data and work with other partners to reach each individual HCP online.

If your talking about Apollo triggering connection requests in LinkedIn automatically it's a manual process actually. Apollo currently doesn't have a feature I would recommend a tool for automating your LinkedIn connections with Waalaxy. I know there is an option to send a test email while sending marketing emails. Is that option available for sales sequences?
Yes! 100% what I do is send myself the actual sequence so I enroll one of my personal email accounts to see what it look like. At this point that's the only way so there's no true test you would just need to enroll a personal email. I hope that helps!

Does it work like linked helper? What about the data, how will apollo get it? Will it send an email and a message on LinkedIn parallelly?
I'm not familiar with Linked helper. All the data is in apollo you just need to customize which audience your looking to target. No Apollo doesn't send the email and LinkedIn at the same time. You have to manually push out the LinkedIn connection request. I've had a lot of issues with the automation from Apollo and would recommend Waalaxy there are a lot more benefits. Jason, I concur that Apollo is a much better CRM than Hubspot. Have you compared it to Outreach? We are evaluating both. A comparison video would be useful.
What’s the typical time line to launch a campaign?
Great question! The creative process usually takes a couple weeks but can be faster. Once we have the creative is takes around 48-72 hours to launch, so pretty quick for sure. I hope that helps. Let me know.

Hello Jason Thanks for this video. I am a 20-year LinkedIn user and I just discovered Apollo. Wow. I do 99% of my work on LinkedIn but I would like to see how I can leverage Apollo. I use automation. I have tried Walaxxy which is not bad, especially for sequences. I prefer Skylead, but they are very similar. Some questions (you will be able to detect my Apollo limitations LOL 1. I do not understand what system you are displaying in the video. Can I assume that you are looking at Apollo targeting names as a source for LinkedIn connection requests? 2. If so, is there a way to upload Apollo data into Sales Nav, create a Sales Nav query, which could then be used in a Walaxxy campaign? That would be killer. 3. Look for a LinkedIn connection request from me. We work with the same clients and I would love to collaborate! Thanks
Thank you for reaching out, great questions. Yes I'm showing Apollo on my screen from what I understand there is no way to upload Apollo data into Sales Nav. Unfortunately Sales Nav isn't the most user friendly tool for integrations. Currently I'm using and training clients to leverage Apollo for a prospecting database and then moving data over to HubSpot for those people that are showing the most interest. Hello do you mean your LinkedIn account? If so no there are no limitations or restrictions by using Apollo with LinkedIn. The way the connection requests work on LinkedIn the only limitations is based on the number of invites per week there is a max of around 100-150 and the the most you can send out per week. Are Apollo sequences able to record into HubSpot? My sales team is currently using Apollo to set up outbound sequences and we would like to have those sequences tracked via HS.
Yes you can integrate Apollo into HubSpot but there are some limitations. What I would recommend is create the company and people list in Apollo export the people list as a CSV then upload to HubSpot and then run your sequence directly in HubSpot it will be the most accurate way. How big are your targeting list for people?

@@jasonfair why did you recommend running the sequence on HubSpot instead of running the sequence on Apollo and only synching contacts who go through a certain stage (i.e. replied to email) to Hubspot so it doesn't eat marketing contact limit on HS? Apollo seems a lot more generous with that. Curious to hear your recommendation.
Hey. Not so happy with my experience with Apollo. A lot of the features they've advertised were communicating in an extremely misleading fashion. Bummed out considering i decided to committ to a professional subscription plan... Anyways... I am looking for an alternative and considering Waalaxy. No you can't send a mass connection request using Apollo. I would recommend a tool called Waalaxy there are a lot of benefits. @@jasonfair You may have overlooked this feature. These manual tasks are included in Apollos Professionals Subscription plan. I upgraded my plan, and had access to the feature!
@@ChristianFrankIvezaj Yes you can definitely do manual requests. But it’s not very efficient to do manually. I’d recommend the Waalaxy tool that actually automates the connection request and you can send two automated messages after connecting. It’s one of the tools I’ve been using to get to 10,000 followers. It’s worth trying to scale connections much faster.
@@jasonfair What is meant by manual? Is this implying we must do the requesting ourselves? I customized a sequence using the LinkedIn connection requesting feature. After revising, i went ahead and activated my sequence. A few hours have gone by and i have not seen much progress. I can that my tasks are "pending." What are they waiting for? I was assuming the software is simply incapable of processing that much data (nearly 2000 requests) instantaneously. So, i assumed these tasks would be split into groups and sent within specific timeframes. Am i assuming correctly?

but from which id will it send a connection request? there is no option to authorize my linkedin profile on Apollo to use it for sending req or message!
Hello, if I understand your issue is your Apollo account isn't connect to LinkedIn for sending a LinkedIn connection request. You should start by downloading the chrome extension for Apollo. This is quality bud, thanks for this. I wonder if there's a way to cancel the pending request on your LI so they don't flag your account for spam. Ya know i find myself in the same situation.. so many tools yet none of them do everything.. i.e. hubspot with no split tests or their api is quite limited for enrichment.. What is your ideal combo?
If I understand your questions correctly you can remove a connection request directly from LinkedIn in the manage invite section of your invites and just click withdraw. But you won't get flagged for spam LinkedIn just has maximum number of invites per week which is around 150-200 connection request per week. I hope that helps. So if I have a large number (350+) of tasks stacked up (Because I assumed Apollo was sending these out automatically) If I select and execute all of these, will Apollo send all 350 and risk my LinkedIn account being flagged? Can you restrict the number of LI tasks per day in Apollo like you can with the emails? Thanks J.
@@jasoncampbell20 Great question. You won't be flagged by LinkedIn you will get a notification that you reached your connection requests for the week but nothing else will happen. But Apollo isn't set up to automatically to send connection requests on LinkedIn it's actually a manual task button you have to click on each one to execute the connection request. But I have a solution to automate connection requests that works simultaneously with Apollo and it's Waalaxy it's super easy to use and scales your LinkedIn connections automatically. I haven't seen anything out there for combining Linkedin Automation with Apollo - Very good stuff - I am in the process of combining these tools - very curious on your approach

@@jasonfair I’ve been trying to organize our outreach which is how I found your channel. We can either start from LinkedIn or email. Ideally, it would be both if either channel alone doesn’t generate a response. Feeling challenged trying to sequence this out. Not sure which channel to start with. Had a lot of success on LinkedIn in the past but wanna scale our efforts. Worried about overlap and not wanting to sound like robot. I love the idea of the multi-prong approach tho. @@olivedrab Happy to help and I get this question frequently. I’ve had the best results with combining email, LinkedIn and Sales calls. The goal is to create noise when you launch a sequence so you stand out. For example Day 1 when you launch the sequence email goes out, LinkedIn connection happens and then a phone call it should happen the same day. It’s been the most effective ways we get results. @@jasonfair Great suggestion. Didn’t think of doing all on the same day. When it comes to not getting flagged, the general rule of thumb is no more than 20 connection requests on LinkedIn per day. Since you can send more emails per day, how would you keep track of who you still need to request on LinkedIn? Or do you just continue daily email+LinkedIn+call sequence until you hit the daily connection request limit?
I just started testing a new LinkedIn connection automation tool that would run at the same time as Apollo. Check out my first part video at th-cam.com/video/FDtstj5NNZg/w-d-xo.html the tool automatically sends the connection requests so it will make you more efficient. But you are limited to the 80-100 requests per week. Again it will help automate it without even needing to set up a task in Apollo. My part 2 video will come out next week.
