There are also the iron beams inside the walls in order to get it that high, need some all around in order for the floors etc to hold at the top.

Snap points in this game can be a little tricky yeah, try snapping it to the lower foundation and then use the Alt+scroll wheel to raise it up.

@@just5moremins I did try that for about 45 mins and than I gave up on it

@@krimzen9927 sorry to hear that. The snapping can be very frustrating. Sometimes I have to move around and try to look at it from different directions, or even above or to the sides for it too work. I really hope the do a rework of the build system.

It just happens automatic when building in the snow in the Way of Winter scenario

@@reyos86 You enter the shop in game, and under the territory section there should be some packages, the glass walls is one of them.

If you hold Tab and go into Camera mode you got first person there with some camera and time/weather controls. Hitting "V" will then hide the UI.

Hi, I use 1+0.5 column there, I see the edit is a litt fast at that point. Was having some issues with getting the snap how I wanted it so was a lot of back and forth :) But yes, need to use a half coumn there. Things have to snap in Once Human if they are to have any structural effect as far as I have experienced. Sorry you had a hard time with that section, will keep it in mind for any future videos :)

@@just5moremins Thank you so much, so I wasn’t far off then hehe. Only thing that bothers me is if that half column gets destroyed (200 HP), I think the whole top goes down but I will try to reinforce. Will keep the 1.5 then!

@@SToad Hopefully you will not get attacked there :) In general I get very little damage to my bases in PVE, have stayed away from those Chaosweavers :)

Hmmmm, seems something has changed there, it did not use to be that high. Have not played the last patches so went to check now. You can build foundation for the portal, place it and then build a little higher with the stone block around it. But strange that they adjusted the placement of it like this.

@@just5moreminsI found an easy fix, I just broke one marble tile in the middle and I was able to set it at the height I wanted by aiming at a tile wall adjacent to the hole. Beautiful build 👍🏻🩵

The glass frames is a cosmetic pack you can buy in the shop

The glass pack is a paid cosmetic, but it can be shared with friends. So someone that have it can share it with you so you can use it. There are no free glass wall packs at the moment unfortunately.

I used solar panels, they are on the roof :)

You can save buildings as blueprints which lets you place it down directly as long as you have all the materials needed, or set it up so you manually fill in each part as you get materials.

That would be a challenge :) Some windows can probably be replaced with that open frame wall, and maybe add a railing inside it. And maybe use less windows and more concrete walls. But it would look different :) Especially without the glass door and section for the entrance.

Thank you! Building in Once Human does have its flaws and janky systems, but there is a gem in there that I hope will get out more as the game gets updates :)

For the full tower I had to use the column in the middle as well. There does not seem to be enough support for some reason, could be something they have updated. I have not tried it on the lower version of the tower yet too see if there is an issue there too, might have to check it out. Wish it was easier to see the support of structures, like in Valheim.

@@just5moremins Ah ok thanks. Yeah it’s a shame because that little sinkhole for storage or deviations or aquariums is such a good idea.

@@just5moremins So I think I found the issue, hard to see with the full blueprint since you cannot turn around; the center tri-foundations are just not there. And I did the test I can still do the alt+middle mouse fine in-game it’s just that the blueprint takes it as two different structures, unless you save the whole base I guess. However I was able to still insert the tri-foundations (with a bit of effort), so maybe every season we have to do the same, put blueprint down and manually do the circle in the middle, not a big deal tho.

oh, good find! Thats something to look out for then, when doing this. I guess saving it as a whole base takes care of that in a way. I wish one could add more than just one building when selecting it that way in saving the blueprint. Like hold down ctrl and select more or something.
