⚠️ Love the MayVick 3 ! I tried 2x dongles here in the USA. 1 for the drone and 1 for the RC Pro controller. Using Verizon as my carrier, the controller works ok (but SLOW compared to WiFi or tethered to my iPhone 13 using Verizon as well). The drone itself does NOT work. It just displays “no internet” and refuses to operate. Just like DJI uses geofencing to screw over users of their EXPENSIVE products, they are probably restricting cellular use in areas away from their headquarters located in the CCP Chinesium Commie Party HQ. No let American suckers access cool features. Oui señor.

It should be available to pilots who are licensed for Beyond Visual Line Of Sight, that is not the case in a part 107. In many countries you can get licensed but its a lengthy process and costly.

7 grand for no 4g dongle they can keep it. U can build this pos for around 2 grand with 4g and get up to 2 hours of flight with a fixed wing

this is bs, you can use bvlos, if you have permit for it (yes, it is part of specific group operations and it takes much advanced exam etc, but still). but since u.s. authorities doing all they can tu put dji down, why should dji realy bother with such lousy support anyway and rather ship their products, where they don't make political bs out of it..
