Laughlin Birthday ski trip.Filmed with an AKASO V50 at 1080p 60fps Just random fun . experimenting with newcamera and editing software , the overlays didn't show on final rendering and sound is sketchy so turn it down and turn on your own music as TH-cam wont let me post music. I thought I deleted it all because waterproof camera case sounds bad but some remains muffled engine noise. #Akaso #Ya...

Bruh u aint even put on music or nun i be sittin there for like 5 mins givin it lil revs n fw my phone gettin situated n shit 😂
My Fiesta 2012 suddently from 1st gear goes in to neutral. For me that is a slip meaning. So the revs gets up to 3,000 rpm and the car just goes slowly (in neutral). This issue got worse because sometimes transmission does not obey me, and if I place the "P" in the red lights then the handle locks up, no matter if I push the breake it just locks and left me in the middle of the street.
I’ve had so many issues with my fusion for it to be a 2018 transmission slipping was my last straw
Dirty or faulty solenoids
Some loud clicking noises and….. well….. that’s it 🤦🏽♂️
What a bot 🤖
That's a recently built car to like newer than 2018 I'm still hauling ass in my 1988 forerunner stock everything 450000 miles
Yup.. 250 when i sold my 2000 excursion.. working fine
Use Lucas oil
So what is this video, are you showing us the transmission slip? Or you causing transmission slip?
How does one cause an auto DCT to slip? Go be stupid somewhere else.
These vehicles Ford Fusion/Focus/Escapes years of 2012 and newer have a Dual Control Electronic Clutch Automatic Transmission. It's like a Manual Transmission built into an Automatic. They are electronically controlled the gear shifting pattern. You slam it in gear like its a Ford from 1985-2005 with a normal Torque Converter/Valve Body setup. These newer vehicles you have to give it a little before you can put it in gear and expect its going to react like a Bugatti.
Ford is being sued for these issues. But go ahead and blame the users. Also, what evidence do you have the car is cold? You're full of shit.
No the Fusions don't have the DPS6 transmission the Ecosport, Fiesta and Focus do.
Not to be like these guys but atleast take the time to turn on music or some so it can atleast start sending some oil through. Around ten to fifteen seconds are all thats needed before you can drive without doing damage as long as your not sending it right off startup
Change the transmission fluid
DCT's don't have transmission fluid, dipshit.
It's a closed transmission. Ford doesn't let you do that
@@Shaker626 damn swap it
@@Shaker626 fluid can be be changed what do u mean
How high is rpm supposed to go and why don't you take it to the dealer?
Shift solenoid "B" is sticking and delayed. Some delay is normal when cold, but that's excessive. You'll need the band number off your old solenoid to match the new one. Let me know if you need any help.
lol, the one I’m replacing just revs up to like 4-5000 rpm only to move 5-10mph. Friction material for 1 and 2 are gone.
this was my 2013 mustang a couple days ago?? is it a lost cause??
@@love-ce5xqno? worst case scenario new trans from a scrapyard or marketplace

Gotta give your car a fucking second man.... holy shit lmao
honestly took me a minute to realize he just cold started it in .5 seconds before just flooring it
Nahhhh this gotta be the craziest thing I ever seen 😂😂 ain’t let that mf warm up a damn second
Let it warm up before just taking off.
My problem f150 09 trans jerrking low power
I have problem f150 09 the trans jerking low power
warm your car up dingus
My ford 500 has this from 2nd to 3rd 😵💫
i think its just how its designed to go the 1.5 needs at least 2500-3000 rpm to accelerate and get boost because of the lack of power it has.
Yeah my 2011 ford taurus does this but seems okay
Except it doesnt go above 2000 rpm like this
Boy i hate American cars
Get a manual jesus.
*Immediately starts vehicle and puts it into gear before the tach can drop* 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
It's 2-3 though
@@michaelmole5435idk what you're trying to say rn but it sounds like you aren't very bright, cars and really any motor or engine needs to be warmed up for at least 30 seconds of operating time before you put ANY stress on it
@@UreBandmore like 5 seconds, doesnt take 30 seconds for oil to build pressure
Its a closed transmission. Have it taken to the shop to get the fluid changed and if it still does it, it could be the TCM.
Or just a bad transmission
@hyperpotato1197 might as well fix the less expensive shit first.
@@bonelessbenjamin9800for real! Spend a few dollars before you spend a few thousand. I just got a message on my dash. Before messing with the transmission I’m just gonna get the fluid checked and changed
It starts like that and then it is very noticeable. It continued till I could feel it on reverse. Dealership had to replace the transmission. This happened in a spam of 4 months.
The 6f35 can be overhauled
Did you just cold start your car and have it in drive before the lights even went out?? Think I found the problem
What did you found?
Have you resolved the issue
Clowns don't know what a dry dual clutch feels like. Keep making focuses easy to buy though
Well other than the transmission completely failing a month after this.. your a 🤡 😅 plus this was a fusion I got 11k out of it keep buying the little girls cars though you look cute in them
@@likepaperinafirewhat caused it to fail?
I don't blame him a freaking cord of fluid is like 45 bucks
Ford is being sued over this, moron.
Your gauge hud is so weird
What year Ford is this? I have a 2008 Focus with the same issue.
Damn bro maybe let your vehicle warm up a bit before slamming it into gear.
That’s what I was thinking, thing wasn’t even fully on before he slammed it in gear and started hot rodding, no wonder your transmission is frigged 😂
@@Nasiummyeah no wonder it’s slipping 😅
The problem is the transmission actuators
Is this an easy fix I have a Chevy 2500 and it slips a lot and I don’t put it in gear as soon as it rolls over too.
it helps if you don't slam your car into gear the second it turns over
Bingo!!! I see people doing this all the time. And when the transmission goes they’ll complain that the unit was designed wrong smh
@@MrSamPhoenixanother thing is slamming gears when another gear is engaged. For example, when backing up, people will then slam the gear into drive without slowing down and stopping to allow the gear teeth to catch easily, and over time it wears the teeth down and leads to slipping tranny
Many do.. into reverse also
Also not stopping fully between reverse to drive, also let the engine run long enough for the rpm to drop to idle below 1,000 rpm before engaging the transmission, change the fluid regularly 👌
@@ryanravencaller it’s easier on the transmission if you are indeed stopped. Easy way to ruin a transmission is throwing it in drive while your still moving backwards
As a female I came in searching for the issue. That was clear. My Silverado has this issue😢
Why does the fact that you're a female matter?
@TheCoCoBully same 😂 my 2017 Explorer has been doing the same shit…seems like all Fords have this damn issue 🤦🏽♀️ 😩
@@Lady_Foggiato Especially her Ford which is a Chevy. Dumb.
My 2013 Honda civic has same problem.
My 2017 Fusions transmission went out at 50k miles. Luckily it was under warrenty
Just an update for everyone the trans failed a little after this video and Ford stuck me with the bill saying it must have been something I did. Needless #anythingbutFord
Had around 11,000 miles on the car when it failed
@likepaperinafire 11k total? Aren't new cars warrantied to like 50k-100k miles?
@@JD-ko5tp they are limited warranty meaning it's up to them if they want to cover it.
Wow! No wonder they stopped production. They really could have made money on these connects but whoever is involved with the build just sabotaged it. I am considering buy a 2014 Transit connect passenger LWB with 127k miles. I had my mechanic look at it on a life and we noticed slight leak near transmission. The mechanic says it’s just the seal and could be fixed although the transmission needs to be dropped to fix it. It’s not dripping but “sweating” I guess How much did you pay them to repair/replace the transmission? Was yours leaking at all?
I'm confused. None of my automatic cars that I had never shifted at the red line. Is it supposed to automatically shift at the red line?
Hell no
My Jeep does the same
Same thing happens with my ram 1500
I think this is a common problem because mine does this in 2nd to 3rd gear and the rest of the gears are fine
Same mine is 2013 with the 1.6 2nd to 3rd gear
Is your transmission still good ?
@@Putthemracksup yeah it’s still doing it but what I’m hearing it’s a very common problem for the ford fusion and if you do get a transmission swapped out with a different transmission it might do the same exact thing or even worse but I’m used to it. My plan is to maybe get my transmission cleaned out and flush and see where this journey takes me.
But to add to this now it’s starting to do it in 1st to 2nd now but not as bad as 2nd to 3rd
@@thebossofgold1 I have a 2010 that’s been doing it since like 90,000 miles. On the fusion forum it’s extremely common and people have had this issue with less than 20,000. I’ve heard people getting over 250,000 with this issue and it’s not a big deal, but do your research!
What can I do to stop it?

Is it all better now 🤔
Sick video hope to see yall again!!!
Having the same issue as well, 2016 Fusion SE 2.0L Turbo, gear trips when going into 2nd and slightly on 3rd. In my opinion I think it has something to do with the adaptive tables of the computer determining when to shift because it shifts according to its learned driving style. Although I would check the trans fluid just in case! I went into service at about 30K miles and I had no trans fluid in there. I’ve been trying to identify the cause but there are many causes out there! Best of lick
this is kind of late but recently got a 2020 2.0L fusion with the same problem, any fix?
@@c6tlvr same here. Any luck?
