    have you bought any other AIO guitars since this video, and if so how was the quality? This LP is fairly stunning, it would easily be a $3000+ guitar if it was built in the USA.. I'm considering the AIO S2-HHS in trans black....killer looking and appointed guitar for $549.......

    I don't know where you're getting your setups done, but if they're charging you $150... Your getting taken to the cleaners. I do that work every day.. and it never varies more than $50 to $60 including strings... And by the way no guitar comes from the factory set up.. they don't know who is going to play it, so it's just a basic general guess. To this day I don't understand why people don't understand that simple concept....

    • @UnlimitedPotentialMusic
      @UnlimitedPotentialMusic 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @donwade-di8ny I do my own setups for myself and the kids, and it's simply a youtube video away from learning the steps, but it does take a few guitars to perfect it for sure and I think some people just don't want to mess with learning it and doing it. In my area, Sarasota, FL, they charge up to $250. It's crazy.

    We are at the best point in history for budget guitars. The quality is amazing for $500 and less. However, stick to the name brand folks (LTD, PRS SE, EPIPHONE, etc). HB, AIO type guitars sound absolutely horrible (compared to competitive brands). Especially in the $400-$500 range. I always laugh when customers claim their American Gibson, Fender or PRS have all of these defects. It does happen... but it's EXTREMELY rare. The majority of the problems are shipping damage. I like to question customers exactly where the got thier American defect. They always get salty and start mumbling something I can't understand. Bottom line, if a person got a unbelievable deal on it- and it's from an online dealer off of Amazon or Ebay (who you'd never heard of). I would point the finger at myself. It's always safe to shop with reputable stores like Sweetwater and Dave's Guitar (for example). AIO and HB look very nice. I think they are worth the money. However, I label them as furniture or art over a good instrument. They are very lifeless (even after upgrades). The line I am absolutely amazed with is LTD. The QA is mind blowing for the money. PRS SE is using an actual African Mahogany variant wood in production (it looks like LTD may also). Good review!

    Your problem is the set nut under the knob. Pull the knob off, find a wrench that fits the nut, tighten it down while holding the pot stem straight so that it does not spin when you tighten the nut. Then put your knob back on and that'll stop those from spinning and breaking away from the connections.🤘🏻 ⚡Keep Rockin⚡

Well... most girls are into Billie Eilish, but that's fine :P our Vocalist jumped in last second, and spot on with the range comment. We did it in the original key because transposing was out of the question for them. It would be much better for her to match a key for her female vocal. VERY nice Epiphone Mr. Webb. With my Epiphone Les Paul special (and my other guitars), I use coconut oil to hydrate the fretboards when they become dry. Take a swab of the coconut oil and rub it on the back of your hand, and you can use your hand like palette, your finger as your brush, and the frets as your canvas. It's a very nice looking guitar, I have always been a fan of the SG body shape. Great review video, especially with your performance with Johnny B. Goode 😁 Rock on!

    Does AIO offer money back if not satisfied. How do these compare to PRS SE Models?

    • @UnlimitedPotentialMusic
      @UnlimitedPotentialMusic ปีที่แล้ว

      No money back, but when I reached out to them, they offered me some money off of the next purchase. If it was bad enough, possibly a money back deal. It's still a small shop so it's easy to communicate with them. I would say the only similarity between the AIO and the PRS SE is the body shape and great setup. I've played a PRS SE model and prefer it over the AIO (at least the one I played) for the pickups and overall build quality. The fingerboard/fret work/action is fantastic on both, but the PRS electronics are a bit better. The SE costs more, but I think the cost is exactly at the amount of value per dollar to buy either one and be satisfied according to the budget. If you have the 300-500 dollars more for the PRS SE, I would get that one, personally.

    Man are you kidding us? Pots turning is nothing of new! Japanese and most Asian makers do not care about shims and the same goes for US, in US they use Loctite paste and Torque tightening. Find some shims that will go down on to the pot, teathed ones are the best ones but any shim will do. One shim at the bottom on the inside and one on the top and it will all be fine no need in tighten harder than to an stop. I check every guitar all of it in before playing it for real.

    • @UnlimitedPotentialMusic
      @UnlimitedPotentialMusic ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok, good call. I look for some shims. I know what you're talking about with that. I'm not sure how it will work, but I'll try it out, and im sure I'll be able to figure it out. I'll definalty look for that if I buy a guitar in person. Most guitars I buy are online, so it's hard to check.

      @@UnlimitedPotentialMusic Most people will buy online. When I get an guitar in 9 of 10 about everything is loose and sloppy made. I am the one to check and sort things out that is it or else that guitar will soon start to fall a part. After some 30 guitars of different brands I know all about it. if the intonation is slightly off on all strings, the neck adjustment has moved since set up...if the neck bows after intonating everything will go slightly sharp as the distance between nut and saddle are closer. slight truss adjustment may be all it needs..

      After adjusting the truss rod just a bit, the intonation was spot on. Good call! Definitely plausible it was shipping temperature adjustment

      Wow, this review sounds amazing. I'm gonna check these out for sure th-cam.com/video/DPciG2UaLl0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=U8YdqWos3deAcmdo I check it out on Amazon and it's 220 bucks. I'm gonna get one because the description is what does it for me. The AIO's go through the guitar before they send it out, and I'm sure the JET sellers don't do as thorough job but the description (pasted below) gives me hope it will come ready to play "What does the Standard Setup of our guitars include? We understand the importance of receiving a guitar that's ready to play. That's why, at Kairon Guitar Store, we take care of those final details that manufacturers might overlook. We go the extra mile to ensure that the guitar reaches the end customer in perfect condition. For this reason, we visually inspect the entire instrument, searching for any detail that shouldn't be there. We check the tuning pegs, electronics, pickups, neck, frets, string height, pickup height, and intonation. We pay attention to every detail of your new guitar so that it arrives in perfect condition. Please note that this setup is standard, and if you'd like something more customized, we recommend taking it to your luthier who can make adjustments based on your specific instructions."

    I was pretty disappointed when I got mine. It’s sounds great and plays great, but there’s multiple bubbles and cracks in the finish, a nut that was like 2mm too small for the slot, and super flat frets. It looks like they leveled the frets then just didn’t crown them again.

      They’re not terrible issues, but for a company that prides it’s set ups, I was let down.

      @nateb.4959 At some point, quantity always gets the best of quality. I hope this isn't the case, but maybe. Sorry about how yours was set up

    Looks like the high e string is too close to the edge and the low e is unnecessarily too far away from it’s edge. Should be the opposite or even on both. I flippin’ hate it when they do that it makes it too easy for the high e to slide off and chink the note.

    Usually the volume or tone pots will move because the lock washer is missing or put in the wrong place on the pot shaft. If the lock washer is installed properly, the pots should not move that easily.

      Yes, sir. The old proverb, "You get what you pay for," holds true on this one. After I set this guitar up, I bet it will be a pretty sweet beginners guitar. But if someone pays to have that done, they could be in it for 300+ dollars, and there are a lot more options in that price range.
