Welcome back too the channel, on this episode we have something a bit unusual. We will be talking about what to check and how too maintenance the inside of these small DC motors our minis run on. We all have so called “burnt up” motors, don’t throw them away but go get yourself a bag of brush’s. I’ll put the link bellow, this is aimed more towards motors that use carbon tipped brushes. Although the cleaning, maintenance and break in are the same process even for tuned class motors. ~ REMEMBER THESE MOTORS ARE NOW FOR TEST USE ONLY ~ tried to make the video as detailed but reasonably short as i could, Enjoy!!

you should come to the Philippines to race :):) would love to show you around
First thing I do is take out the little white motor spacers and use those to space out my gears on my open cars. Also, I will save the shaft to use for high-speed roller mounts. Everything else gets dumped the can and the endbell are useless.
❤ thanks 🙏 for vibes 🎉
Thanks man 🎉 Keep it running 🎉
Great video and beautiful car. Love the color. So much detail - piece of art!!🥰
Good content~ nice review on the counter sink tool~ I’m gonna try that deeper angle tool . I use three different counter sinks to get it nice and clean. Also ~ I thought I was the only one that counters sinks the weights so they seat properly on the nut~ lol
@@tonypapagna4709 thank you! Much love bro, I’ll give the multiple bits a go. But yes i been onto counter sinking the weight once i realized how much more accurate it makes the landing. Plus looks clean

Mini 4wd meets art, just the amount of work itself and dedication is beautiful <3

People who still thinker w/ the X chassis are a special breed, nice build. 👍
That’s a lot of work ~ the carbon reinforcement is on point
Nice ❤

Great video son. Keep pushing forward. 🥰
Whoa! This is awesome bro, I wish I had something like this in the future :) Wish you all the best
That's definitely a tagalog slang-reversed word "Sakalam" - "Malakas" which means Strong! Haha
Congratulations honey- hard work always pays off🥰🥰🥰
the taxi driver who writes on the phone while driving .... congratulations Schumacher😮
What's the purpose of brake cleaner shrinking?
Turns basic tires too super hard tires and the shrinking is too make them lower profile with shaving.
i think u used the wrong propeller and crown gear for this build. it should have been the 2mm propeller and orange crown gear. it makes a difference in the transmission.
I sure did, i used what i had as open parts didn’t have the correct parts open so later down the road the machine will get the proper gearing and propeller shaft.
@@keepitlevelmini4wd648 awesome. looking forward to see the progress on the build after using the right parts.
great build :D alot of effort in this build :D the tyre seem to have become low friction
Thank you! Lots of effort indeed, with using the brake cleaner method it did turn the tires too be low friction. I think it ended up working in my favor
As i told you, check the gears and transmission. The car sounds a bit "grippy". Aside that, excellent job as usual. You keep the level really high mate:) -LS
Much appreciated! Since the video i was able too out more detail into transmission and it’s way smoother. Did what you said and installed the pink gears 🫡💪🏽
@@keepitlevelmini4wd648 now all you have to do is to fix gear covers, and you're done, mechanically wise. Keep it up maaaan! <3

Thanks you so much! Hope it turned out as you expected and more. 🖤❤️
nice build sir ❤🎉
Thank you! It was really fun building a 90’s chassis. 🥰
The carbon underneath of the plastic under guard was unneccesary. The plastic itself is already a guard 🤦♂️. or just stick with the carbon under guard.
Thanks for your comment! I believe it’s unnecessary also. But you never push forward without trying new things. Enjoy‼️
Amazing my bro 😎
Thank you 😊
Cool truck bro 👌👍😊

Thank you mama, the families support means the world to me 🖤❤️🖤❤️
The car with those self-modified motor that run with 2WD on the flat track, The Japanese call it fence car. In my country of Thailand it's called Rot Kang which means skeleton car. They were very popular in many countries in Asia in the 90's. Back then Tamiya's official regulation was basically the current tuned-class. Rev, Torque, Atomic and 6 rollers something like that. Real Tamiya cars back then was very slow, they run on the same up down course as the current track but no sponge brake, no mass dampers. Around 2000-2010 was quite a dark age for Mini 4WD because everyone abandoned it after the end of the anime called Bakusou Kyodai Let's & Go. Anyway, this video is very informative. I think there are very limited number of English Mini 4WD YT channels out there. One problem is that most of the countries that Mini 4WD is popular are mostly non-English speaking country. I think subtitles may help your reach out to more people, probably. Nice video. Good luck!
Thank you for your comment! And yes sir these cars were quite epic in the 90’s and still till this day. Yes the turn fence car has come across me before, but since it wasn’t very know we just referred all this too as mini 4wd. More videos to come thanks for your feedback and support!
