Yea insta reels absolutely cooked my attention span, completely quit a couple weeks ago😭
❤Awesome
It's impossible for a video to be this good but it has so few viewers, it's a shame
Thank you! Trying my best 😅
👍
Thanks
Bro, love the iniciative, it seems you just want to make content. Get people engage!
This guy is talking from the perspective of someone who is a shut-in and a nerd and a weirdo. No one could tell me going to the gym is more important than gaming. If you felt games made you less of a man, then sure you definitely needed to quit and lift some weights.
Lol
Truth. Such a powerful message, great job young man. Subbed
Appreciate it
This video is like a punch to the gut, I spend everyday of my life playing games. Dumping hours upon hours in games and nothing else Thank you so much for this video
Of course brother now you have full control to change your life going forward!
The Minecraft bgm is crazy
Lmao
The point of this video has been around since the dawn of video games, that's is " Gaming is a meaningless activity that holds no real rewards or transferable skills." It's always from moral superior busy bodies who conveniently recently cut gaming out of their life in some way. They see that they were addicted and assume everyone else is addicted or at least has a negative experience with it. Someone else's life is another's hell. Addiction is sure an issue, but it's surely not everyone you come across is addicted to gaming. You do need to rest once in awhile. Tl;dr You grew out of gaming.
I literally said in the video I’m not against gaming, just advising people to cut back on the hours to do something else. That can literally be going for a walk or doing something like spending more time with your family. I’m not saying you need to work and grind 24/7. Life is all about balance.
this video only having 500 views is criminal. thank you bro, I do been gaming a lot lately, too much to the point i dont enjoy it that much anymore. I do need to cut down on the hours and get back in the gym and the grind
Thanks brotha! I’m glad it could help you
it’s a good idea for a video, but I think you have missed out the other side as someone who plays games a lot and also works a lot on his own business games are good because they help you relax and working on something takes a lot of energy unlike gaming. it’s a way to escape without all the mental strain and it’s also a way to make friends and connect with other people who are similar to you. It’s just like any other hobby that has its benefits and disadvantages. You can't work 24.7 learning piano for instance takes times and lots of energy. Games you can pick up quickly.
I agree with you, I just think that you need to remove yourself from gaming (if you’re currently addicted that is) and then once you’re at a point in your life where you can live without it then you can reintroduce it in healthy amounts.
@nicholasklepper well I can safely say I play games basically every night and have done for a long time. My priority is my work and my life and games have never been a problem for me. Addiction is when it becomes out of control and you constantly want more. I think the word addiction is played around to much. Point is you have to limit it and be aware of when it takes over things that are important. Otherwise it's absolutely fine to play even everyday.
@@stealthzi7465 That’s great, but this video was made for the people like my past self to open their eyes on how much they’re actually playing. Doesn’t seem like you fit into that category.
@@nicholasklepper yeah it's very possible. I just never understood how it can be a problem I maybe am naive to it.
Do you have a vid with the equipment that you are using for your vids?
Nah I don’t really think too many people are interested in that lol
@@nicholasklepper what camera do you use, if you don't mind me asking
@ I have a Sony FX3
Buddy that's fine that you feel like that. However, not every thing in people's lives needs to go towards something. You can pursue any real world goals parallel to gaming. In case gaming is inhibiting you from doing that you can try balancing it out. I don't think people in a similar place in life as I that I know who are not gaming are any happier than I am, nor do I care that much if they are. Its just a nice way to spend time with yourself and challenge yourself without too much risk, or simply relax and try out some facet of your imagination through a gaming medium
I agree and I said in the video “im not telling you to quit gaming” I’m telling people to cut back on the hours and work towards something else. Most people don’t and can’t just casually play one hour a day. If you can balance an hour a day and still focus on your life then great but most people can’t which is why I made the video
cope
@@nicholasklepperIs there any evidence that actually supports the belief that most people can't just casually play an hour or two a day? I suspect the actual truth would oppose you on that. On the other hand, we do have evidence of social media being inherently addictive. Video games come off as tame to me now compared to that mess from what I've read.
Read the other comments people have left, I think we can both agree that video games are addictive and many people just cope and say they’re not addicted. Also I see nothing wrong with giving people advice telling them to go out a better their lives instead of just gaming. If you wanna keep playing video games and you can balance it that’s great man keep doing it lol.
@@chillinchum As a person who is highly addicted to videogames who knows dozens of people in real life also addicted to videogames you are coping brother. They literally hire gambling psychologists to make games as addictive as humanly possible.
ive spent 31 hours within 3 days at my desk. fired from my job 3 days ago. locked myself away from £800 worth of games and dlc just to buy more. ive stopped weight training and dieting. i had a love for muay thai and was a natural at it but i stopped because i lacked confidence. I am wasted potential
Life has ups and downs you just need to keep going. You’re only wasted potential if you decide to give up
1:21 Is that lil pump
Yeah he goes to my gym lmao
Its always the video from a small channel that come in clutch lol. Honestly, thank you for saying this, I'm looking forward into improving myself. It's hard to getting rid of my gaming routine and the whole addiction. I started to see its effects in my life, I had almost nothing to share with my friends, talking about video games just feel weird when they don't even know what I played. I can do better, I need to try.
Ayy glad I could help you out!

thank you for your help. your English is fluent. I believe you will be rewarded for your effort. im glad to find your channel.
Thank you!
The video is amazing overall man, just a few tips I would like to share: 1. The field of self improvement has become increasingly saturated. If you want to pop out, you have to do something unique, something that you have found makes you unique. 2. Something seems off about your eye contact and tone in a few parts of the video. I understand you are going for the soothing vibe, but it seems as if someone forced you to record those shots at a few points in the video. It seems a little underconfident. Look at the viewer with confidence. Put strength in your tone. 2.5 What I mean to say is that if i were to watch this video without looking at the video, it should feel just as engaging. Great work with the shots man! Wonderful work. Hope you do well!!
Thank you brotha for the feedback will definitely try and work on that!
This video is beautiful, and you speak clear and concise. I'm happy I've found your channel!

Cool video, man! It also took me months of convincing myself to hit the gym and finally gave in. I'm in my 3rd week now. 💪 I finally chose "Day 1" instead of "one day"
Thanks amazing bro! Love to see it 💪🏼
That’s sick my brother I’ve been going 9 weeks consistent and results have popped in now I’m super motivated
I'm sorry but you can still play videogames and get jacked... While also having an active social life, it all depends on balance 🤷♂️
The videos not intended for people who are fine with just playing like one hour. For me personally I’d say I’m only gonna play one hour a day and then it would turn into 5. So it was easier for me to just entirely quit and focus on something more productive
Video games are a huge waste of time if ur playing for more than an hour a day
@@DingerStonebuddy you can replace “video games” in that sentence and it still would be true
@@nicholasklepper working out takes like an hour bro, not most of your day
@@Vex331 and the other 23 hours can be filled with something productive not video games that gain you no progress in life
I play video games on weekends, go to gym, have a 9-5 job You don't need to quit anything if you can resist the urge and set limits. Quitting is easy, setting limits and managing everything is tough. Live tough be tough
That’s awesome bro! I’m speaking for people like my past self that aren’t able to just play a little bit. I would always try and play for just an hour and then end up there for 5 hours. So I knew if I wanted to see real progress I had to stop playing entirely.
@@nicholasklepper I think in that case you should start learning how you can restrain yourself from that kind of binging behavior, quitting is a bandaid solution, it'll bleed into other areas of your life if not addressed. I quit games at one point because i thought the same thing, but found my balance eventually. I don't really enjoy games that much nowadays, i just play with friends every now and then, that's really it
@Aksu2113 I agree, if I play games now it doesn’t have the same effect it did on me in the past because I’ve “reinvented myself,” but I feel like someone who’s addicted right now needs to be strict when trying to change their life and then can come back to it when they’re at a better place in life.
True that if your life balance includes video games bravoo❤ I now enjoy other hobbies over video games personally which is due to quitting games for the most part
Wow💯Well said and Bravo on your physique!💪
Thanks brother!
