I create Halloween and Christmas displays using projection mapping. Everything you see is done with one projector. I create a few different scenes each year and try to teach myself something new with each one. The projections run nightly for 3 to 4 weeks leading up to the respective holiday. The projector is contained is a custom built weather resistant stand and is brought out every night. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer. Thanks for watching!
Rudolph Christmas Projection Mapping Assets
These are a few clips I grabbed and edited from the HD remake of the original cartoon in order to use in my Christmas Projection. I wanted to show the entire story in 5 minutes or less so I had to do a ton of cutting and customizing to make things work. There are 5 clips, the last three are loops.

The Griswold Light scene is something I have done every year since 2018, and each year I try change it up and experiment. This year I enhanced the animation for Clark, and practiced hand animating some swinging lights. This is another video from Christmas 2021 set to "What's This?" form "The Nightmare Before Christmas." The backgrounds were made in Adobe Photoshop and everything was assembled in After Effects. Some of the elements used are from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion after it is taken over by Jack Skellington and friends every year around Christmas. Everything is projected with one Optoma EH460ST.

You're welcome! If you're talking about the one that goes horizontally across my peak, I unfortunately do not have that exact file to post. I have made dozens of custom Christmas lights over the years though. Flashing lights and static strings, running effects, etc. I'll try to through a quick upload together and put a few in there.

Great job. Do you have the video files for the individual light strands at the beginning and/or the lights on the whole house at the end?
Are you referring to the swinging section or just the straight section? I only ask because I make tons of Christmas light strands to project for different scenes. That little animated section is a simple loop of the full string I made in photoshop and AE. I can see about posting the file somewhere if it's a png or video. I'll dig it up.
@@HouseProjections I was referring to both the swinging and individual strands. I haven’t found any online that look nearly as good as the one you have. If you can dig it up that would be awesome! Again I really like your content and thanks for the reply

Thank you! I did a few different masks for the wall. One was an outline of my siding, another was a series of masks for each individual piece of siding, and a third was a combo with areas removed in photoshop. I then applied lightning effects to the different masks and used keyframes to animate them.

Thank you! I make the backdrops in photoshop from anything and everything. I use screengrabs, rotoscoping, personal photos, 3D models, etc. I collect images throughout the year as I come across them or create them. Right now I have three 2 TB hard drives filled with graphics, elements, and segments I've made. It becomes a bit of an obsession! I actually added more this year included some additional rotoscoped animation of Jack and some background elements. I'll wasn't going to upload the video because it wasn't 100% original, but I might this weekend.

Thank you! I took everything from the Blu ray, there's a special edition "4D" version that was created for an amusement ride. It doesn't matter where to footage comes from, the process is the same. I do a lot of rotoscoping to take the elements out and make blank blank backgrounds in photoshop. Then I can resize and recompose everything to fit the house. For example the scene with Bumble chasing Rudolph and Hermey has about 11 different rotoscoped elements individually looped, timed, and matched. Plus a custom background and sky from photoshop to match the original scene.
