5 Ounce Optimal Silver Stacker
มุมมอง 133หลายเดือนก่อน
Video about what size I think is the optimal size silver to stack. Diversify when you get into the heavier sizes like instead of the 10 ounce get 1/10th ounce gold just a little bit more right now. This is my thought and based off what I can afford at this time. Opinions may change over time based off prices. Diversify the stack with both silver and gold and based off prices right now these are...

Talking about the vintage Engelhard Prospector silver round. Stack silver rounds wither they are vintage or new. Engelhard corporation from 1902-2006. I only have 5 of these Engelhard Prospector rounds and none of the bars. Would like to add at least one of the Engelhard bars at some point.
20th Century Type Coins
มุมมอง 232หลายเดือนก่อน
Going over a frame of US 20th century type coins. Type coins are coins minted by a government intended for circulation. I believe this frame was originally produced before 1981 as it has no end date for the Susan B Anthony and does not include the State Quarters that were minted in 1999.

👍👍💯🙂
Thanks for supporting
I've collected what I've liked since I started collecting. I received a 1922 Peace dollar when I was about 12 or 13 from a family friend and it got me hooked. I'm almost 30. I have a diversified collection now because I have collected what I have liked and what I have been able to afford.
I wish that had started when I found my first 90% quarter. Probably mid 90s. Sounds like you have it under control.
When I finished my Peace dollar set (mid grade) I lost interest.
I will probably never the sets that I started. Unable to go out and look for specific dates. Everything else looks to cool.
👍
Thanks for watching
I love my 90%. almost to 400.00 face, goal of 1k face. If youre stacking , your winning.
Only got like 40 dollars of 90%. Like it all have some of everything. Maybe will get more.
Pretty awesome coin 🦘😊
I like doing the videos going over all the different coins. Sometimes they are harder for me to do with anything other than just explaining the designs. I would like them be different I will keep working the presentation.
I wonder if the silver certificate notes can actually be exchanged for real silver today.
Most certificates only go for a couple dollars. 1968 was the last year that you could exchange a 1 silver certificate for silver bullion. Today if you take them to a bank they will give you 1 federal reserve note.
@@FrozenGeeCoins Virtually like receiving an IOU from a business that went bankrupt.
Repeat after me... "I do not have a quarter. I have a disc that is 90/100 silver."
I have thought about getting into the 1999 and newer silver proof quarters is that a good option?
The 90% coins can be melted and refined to .999, so I don't feel that they are junk. The other metals could be used as well.
If you are melting it down that would be true definition of junk. As the term junk is a term that the refiners came up with to denote silver with a lesser purity than sterling.
No silver is junk. I hate that term. Dude 90% is the way to go. Ive got 271 rolls of dimes and 76 rolls of quarters. Folks are crazy if you think that ain't valuable. I totally disagree with you that brother. I collect it all. 90% is absolutely not junk whatsoever.
I usually call it 90%, but I will call it junk. I also like it just have a hard time buying it. I stated in the video that I would like to get more. Just giving people something to think about. If i walked up to you and handed you a 1964 and 1965 quarter you would at first glance not be able to tell the difference.
Now you've done it! I will have to roll mine too. But you have me beat anyway, haha
A chest full of 90% just feels like treasure to me!
Yes that would be a treasure. As I said I would like to acquire more 90% only have like 16 dollars in halves, and ten dollars each quarters and dimes.
I would worry that people might not know that junk silver is any different than post '64 clad coinage, especially in a barter situation. The other person has to know it's actually 90% silver and not just regular dimes, quarters, etc. I'd still like to stack a little bit of it, just to have some, tho...
I started with the belief of a barter and trade in silver. But the longer I have been in this the more things have changed for me. All that is in my previous video.
A 1964 quarter still buys what it did in 1964. Get it? So you are ok buying a silver eagle for $30+ that is marked with a denomination of $1???? What?
I have gone over that in yet another video. I am personally ok with buying anything in silver and gold form. It all depends on what you believe the exit strategy is.
I prefer .999 silver it beautiful shiney 90% is dirty and worn which is why I don't buy it anymore I'm sticking to buying .999 silver bars
I definitely look at all my rounds and coins way more than the 90%.
@FrozenGeeCoins 👍
Wishing you and Frozen Gee Coins the best in the upcoming New Year!
Hope to have a really good new year. Hope the new year is good to you and yours.
Gold, congratulations on adding some good gold value to your collection. Happy New Years 2025!

That's some bible Gold! Even the wise men liked Gold!
Did the wisemen like good or were they trying to get rid of extra stuff lying around that they didn't use anymore?

hi
Love those Prospector rounds. I tripped over a couple while I was chasing SAEs in the late 90s. Great video.
Don't go out of my way looking for them. If I spot them I will get 1 or 2.
Awesome type set I like the holder very cool
Picked it up in a whatnot auction. Unsure of the date manufactured. Filled with coins in my collection. Placed on a bookshelf in my family room I look at it everyday.
I sure am glad that you shared your coin set pretty cool looking frame typeset😊
Things like this are why started showing. I really only want to show things in hand not ebay images or anything else trying to hype certain things. Just showing what I have and what people can get if they are interested.
Very cool
Thanks
What coins did the pilgrims have?
Most colonist carried coins issued from the country that they came from. As far as the first coins minted on the colonies was the Pine tree schilling minted in 1952 Boston by silversmiths.
I assume you didn't intend to say 1952, I'm sure there were coins minted much earlier than that@FrozenGeeCoins
Happy Thanksgiving Holidays. We love you Frozen One
Hope everyone is doing good on that end.
Nation collaboration, love it! 🇺🇲✨🇬🇧
Just found Britannia and Liberty bullion coin in the generic bin at the refinery. It is very milky on the side with Charles.
Great both coins
Been looking to add the other one. Not a fan of the Charles portrait.
The American is nicer, but I could only afford the British
I feel due to fact that they two cool designs instead of person.
Any idea what year these stopped being used?
I am unsure and have been unable to find any concrete data. Sources show mixed dates and some say you can still find them, some sources show they make without silver and look the same. So if buying for the metal content due your research further.
Nice 👍
Pick a team and get on board. We all know you're voting for Kamala.
It all depends on who I want to listen to whine for the next four years. But that is the case every year. As I have tried to always practice if you don't vote you can't complain. But no matter what you have to listen the complaints.
Very nice metal 🥈😊
Great addition. Maybe a little bit to spendy time will tell.
1921American $1 coin sell me
still a good buy currently selling on the secondary market for $200
Not going to actively look for a buyer for this one. If I had one of the signed with privy probably would have sold the next day and picked up one of the non-privy and some extra.
@@FrozenGeeCoins that was my plan as well I’m just happy to have one it’s a beautiful coin and I can’t afford the gold one coming out in November.
I love Goldbacks
I do to just wish the premium wasn't so high and we could get closer to spot.
They are beautiful
The designs are very cool. I have been looking for a good way to display them.
today's exchange can be found on Goldbacks website updated daily Exchange Rate One Goldback --- $5.46 04-Oct-2024 10am Utah
Nickles are cool
How about a video on one of the different nickels that the US produced after they started minting in nickel.
I always like the Indian head buffalo nickel.
Boomers like me grew up with it being called junk. I take no offense. Article 1 Sec. 10 was pushed aside very early. Continentals, GreenBacks, and now FRN. That is the real junk. Great video. TY
From my readings of the constitution those we place in positions to represent us use it as the toilet paper in the capitol building.
Thanks for sharing, more people need to realize what real $ is. Honestly the able minds and bodies of men and women hold the only true value for without there is no constructive consciousness, no understanding of creation or creating! No mining of silver or gold! FYI: Bank notes are just IOY notes, no value!
Backed by the faith of the federal government that is over 35 trillion dollars in debt.
You might want to revise your video statement saying "in 1965 all half dollars, quarters and dimes were minted out of 90% silver." 1964 was the last year. You can also say Pre 1965 coinage was used for our currency (not bullion). You are mixing up terminologies here. Learn the terms before speaking. Have script if that helps. Wish you the best.
I do say until 1965 which I take to mean until the start of 1965 which ended in 1964. Maybe I could have been clearer with how I stated it. At no time was the word bullion even mentioned only 90% and at one point 92.5 Sterling. Sometimes even the guys that have doing this for years and have thousands of views make mistakes. If I was wrong I do apologize. But as my info says a place for us to learn that means me as well.
@@FrozenGeeCoins Thank you for your response. Well said. We all learn each day. If you look at Mark 0:40 to 0:50 you speak on the bullion, and I am confused with what you said. "or bullion piece being minted out of a lesser purity." I don't know how you would use "bullion" in regards to minted coins. It was a little confusing. Thank you for your kind response.
I call it ninety 🥈💯
That also works!
I call it wise to hold.
You should have a video of someone diving into a bunch of coins scrooge mcduck style and swimming around in them.
Do you have any South Park ones
Don't think I have ever seen any south park minted coins or rounds. Maybe they have not given out the rights to any mints.
Thats pretty damn cool 😎
Like to get some of the crazy designs that they make into silver pieces.
Nice Ninja Chibi , I have the knights Templar chibi they are so cool 👍
I have the Knights Templar as well they are different and cool to look at. Would add more of the chibi coins if I can get them for a good deal.
Love my Brits
I only have a couple none yet with the King.
Very nice coins 😃
If numismatic value drops still have silver value. If they both drop we are screwed.
Nice picks
I think they were good gets.
Can’t go wrong with old US dollars.
Can usually find them for a decent price if you look in the right place and hold out for the deals.
