Ocarina of time came out in 1998 and that style of zelda was supplanted until 2017. That's almost 20 years of the same formula. You could argue the old style was made as early as LTTP. So, it's been even longer. Let the new style breathe for like 10 more years. With how long each entry takes, we are only getting like 4 games before they decide to change it up anyway.

The reason xerneas and yveltal don’t have megas is because they are overflowing with so much energy that they are technically already are mega evolutions. Mega stones are created by evolution stones being irrigated by the ultimate weapon (xerneas and yveltal’s power)

So I kinda just think people need to understand that open-world seems to be the only thing Nintendo wants to do with 3D Zelda. Like heck, there was even an interview saying they don't see themselves going back to linear games outside of 2D Zelda. I can understand not liking those games but it IS the future of Zelda.

Other than the older pokemon games (especially the DS and GBA ones), I want both Zone of enders games and High moon transformer games.

Give me a remake or new Mischief Makers and I will go buy a switch 2 that day just to play it. I miss my adorable robo-girl Marina and her adorable "Shake-Shake" so much. engagement bait engagement bait engagement bait I really would love a new Nintendo Land or Streetpass system for the Switch successor. It really irks me how the Switch lacked any worthwhile connectivity with other Switches or motivation to take your Switch with you. The Nintendo Land sequel meanwhile is just me being self indulgent, I loved the Pikmin Diablo-like and the DK rage bait game. Those especially made me really want to see other series represented! Like splatoon, where it’s a shoot the targets game but with a twist of splatoon’s main gimmick of painting the stage as well, have power up boxes to make the gameplay more chaotic! Or arms/punch out, have it where you do beyblade styled matches where you control the board with motion control and the shoulder buttons for your attacks. Hell, go weird! Do one based on Wii sports but it’s like a sports based mini rpg where you fight hordes of enemies in different sports, the final boss being the king of sports, Matt, being corrupted by the prospect of being the best. I loved the twists that Nintendo Land gave to its back catalogue of games, and I want to see more! But alas, I doubt it’ll ever happen, fun to speculate though!

I mean, we did get Echoes of Wisdom a few months back, and it was a really good game, so I feel like a new Zelda is something we don't need, but remasters of games like Twilight Princess, Windwaker, and such are required on the next system.

If I could have any game one the switch 2, it would be a remake/port/sequel to Mario Sports Mix Nobody knows about this game's existence, but I had an absolute blast playing this game every time I would go to my grandma's after school in 1st-4th grade A Mario sports game with 4 sports rather than 1, with a bunch of unlockable characters, including 5 FINAL FANTASY CHARACTERS AND A DRAGON QUEST CHARACTER (BECAUSE WHY NOT I GUESS LOL), and a lot of the characters have alternate costumes, and a semi-story mode (it's just 3 random tournaments with a twist final fantasy boss fight at the end of the last one against A FUCKING BEHEMOTH) This game is peak, it has a great music, was incredibly fun to play, and I need more people to know about it. I haven't even played it god knows how long, but I NEED to reexperience it if any game is gonna shoot me in the head with as much nostalgia as possible, it's Mario Sports Mix

What I’m hearing mostly is that people want a back to basics era. Not open world, or more complicated, just back to the original games. With some modern tweaks. And that’s not just you, but also Arlo.

Blastoise shud get the number 1 spot against loreli... yea venasaur might be able to learn a move to give loreli a run for her money against ONE of her pokemon... blastoise can do the same while also resisting all water and ice moves

few issues here. for one... super effective isn't everything. super effective bite's 120 power. stab surf/flamethrower? 135. so bite doesn't do anything of value presuming their stabs are not resisted to the psychic types. second, erika is interesting as blastoise becomes kinda a glass cannon, using ice beam but being weak to ice, venu LOOKS bad but in gen 1 she will only use poison powder due to the ai which makes venu just spam body slam. zard only has ember which is a pitiful 40 power so stab is 60 and super effective is 120 but it also hits into their better special stat while body slam on venu while lesser in power hits into their far worse phys def so it's still not bad. zard also can get para'd and wrapped out so it's something to keep in mind. also zard can have dig for agatha which obliterates her ghosts in gen 1 but is worthless gen 3, though they have worse special gen 1 so just use flamethrower (remember non stab bite is weaker than stab surf/flamethrower so it doesn't matter if they have bite). interestingly in gen 1 venu also has that bug work in its favor vs lance who most of his mons spam agility against so in practice it's unloseable while zard does awful and blast does probably the best in that it kills most of em other than gyara way faster. also zard can get dig too which helps it a lot in some things like lt surge offensively though he won't res electric. it's something to keep in mind. also submission is awful and it'll do lots of recoil to blast vs lorelei so it's more blastoise will have a war of attrition or try to submission and ko itself on its high recoil.

Genwunner here, although Charmander is my favourite Fire type Pokemon, the best choice is clearly Squirtle. Squirtle and Wartortle tank most trainers and gyms other than Surge & Erika, if taught dig, mows through Team Rocket Silph Co with poison types. Blastoise is best Water Pokemon in Kanto and if taught Ice Beam.. Come at me, Lance. I like Bulbsaur & Ivysaur, but later in the game, Poison & Grass is just weak to too many sp atracks; Ground, Flying, Fire, Psychic and Ice. Side note, Mudkip line is the True Best Water Starter. Of COURSE Charmander will have a "harder time" with some of the Gyms, you're meant to catch other Pokémon to cover his weaknesses. You bring this up at the end, but make the premise of your argument "imma put mah starter against the gyms and see what happens". With that logic, NO ONE should pick Charmander, because he can't sweep the gyms. Is that how ya'll play this game now? 😂

I agree with this. I like Mario kart but I get bored fast with it and it doesn’t feel as fast as I can be I love sonic all star racing transformed. I can’t wait for sega to bring it to the modern consoles. I don’t wana get a ps3 just to play it. Team sonic racing is just meh. Ctr with all the superior speed at which you can go & frantic matches & short cuts make me love it the most Edit- adders lair in all star racing transformed is the best song int the game

Gen 2 Starters Are The Worst!

theirs so many options for them to do it and make money, like a big collection would be good even if just digital. or just release digital generation bundles. like I think most people would happily pay at lest 40 for like red blue and yellow in a bundle, maybe charge 70 for the 3rd gen bundle and do ruby, saphire, emerald, fire red and leaf green all together since their kinda the same gen and so on and so forth. the only real problem is when you hit the gens that had dual screens, those would need soft remakes to get rid of the dual screen functionality but still you could charge full price for the gen 2 remakes on switch and not one fan would complain

10:00 regarding this whole segment, this is a great idea but I feel like it doesn't marry with the online support. The only 2 good options are to either only allow online matches with minigames/items that everyone has unlocked or just have everything unlocked in online regardless of what has actually been unlocked for every player. Each solution has it's own problems. 1. The problem with option 1 is that if you end up in a game with a beginner, your game is probably very limited content wise as they likely won't have unlocked many things. 2. The problem with option 2 is that it makes the idea of unlocking things kinda redundant as you have access to every unlockable straight away so why would you go through the effort of buying all that extra stuff, especially when there's some banging music for sale in the music shop 😋 Please let me know your thoughts in the replies

Not gonna lie very lazy video idea and it’s venasaur we’ve seen a million videos and reels.

A quick note on Gen 1. In Red and Blue especially the AI was very broken leading to Erica and Koga seeing the Bulbasaur line’s grass type and prioritizing poison moves that are ineffective like poison powder and toxic. The same thing happens to the psychic moves on Lance’s team. Venusaur is by far the easiest starter to use, even if it is slower than Blastoise for speed runs.

Wartortle has bite by the time you get to misty which is super effective against starmie

Honestly, the starter having advantages over gym leaders really only matters until Lt.Surge (Misty is the real wall), because after that you have enough Pokémon variance to try and force your way through each gym ( for instance, how i play is essentially making a new team for each gym ); so the real question is how each of them helps you in a general way: movement , generalist team for Rival , Rocket hideout/Sylph Co. so Charizard just gets you stuck in the caves . Both Squirtle line and Bulba line solo the caves so both are great for general movement; for Team Rocket , Venusaur just absolutely tanks all the trainers even the Scientists with electric/steel Pokémon while Blastoise might have some issues but both destroy Giovanni all three times; for Rival matches even if grass is ass.. Venusaur still can tank much better with Leech Seed and Giga Absorption . So imho Venusaur line just makes things slightly better in a general way not just for gyms ( and honestly you don’t really have to use any of them for E4)

While yes the argument is more about starters. This isn't taking in to account catching pokemon. Vaporeon,starmie and slowbro can all more or less do blastoises job. Charizard or arcanine are fine fire types. And Venasaur is debatably the best grass type in kanto
