@@jarina96 Overpriced, too many tourists, rampant sex trade, etc. the list could go on and on. If I wanted to spend my time surrounded by drunk, arrogant Russians or Brits, I'd go straight to London or Moscow instead of Phuket. There are countless places in Thailand that beat Phuket any day. You only need to drive 20 km north and a completely different, authentic Thailand will open up to you for a fraction of the cost without the phenomena mentioned above. Of course, this is just my own subjective opinion, which does not apply to everyone. Greetings from Finland, landing to Bkk on Wednesday 🌞 🌴

@@jarina96 When you cross the sarasin bridge from Phuket to the mainland, that's where Phang Nga province begins. The prices drop by half and the phenomena I mentioned in the previous message do not occur there. I recommend renting a motorbike and driving up the coast to Khao Lak. Inland there are countless small villages, jungle roads and paths and waterfalls, places you can only dream of in Phuket

@@onboardtraveler that’s where I am now I like it better… I’d recommend staying in Patong for 2-3 days and 1-2 days in old town

yes i think they did.... but i also think drinking is bad ... especially when drinking in a bad place but this was a good place until it became bad at night but by day it was good when we where not drinking but we dint drink best of luck :)
