How do you play against the flood in odst?

Tips from an avid Floodfighter. Destroy the bodies when they fall. A punch or two will do nicely- trust me, it'll save you a lot of time, health and ammo. When they jump at you- and they will- punch them first. Typically punching an unshielded combat form is a better idea here than in Halo CE. Use plasma, spike or incendiary grenades on the Carrier forms. This will stop them from spawning infection forms. For tank forms, try sticking them on the head with a plasma or spike to kill them. An incendiary will kill them no matter where you hit. AoE weapons (like shotguns, rocket launchers, fuel rod cannons). Automatics. Plasma rifles. These are especially good against the Parasite. My personal favorite would be either SMG, assault rifle or plasma rifle. Energy swords and gravity hammers are your best friend in fighting your way through close-quarters Flood.

Quite inaccurate, because: 1. As the shipmaster said: One single flood spore can destroy a species, and what do we see all around the map? Flood spores. Maybe this ODST is protected because of his helmet, or maybe he still has time. 2. Getting scratched by a combat form is already dangerous, a single scratch can infect you. I believe the same applies to the ranged form, too. 3. Do NOT let the infection forms touch you, not even once, remember that the reason they pop when they come in to contact with Spartans is because of his energy shields and armour. But even then, he was nearly infected in the comics, if it weren't for Cortana, Chief would have been toast.

If the Forerunners had ODST's they wouldn't have needed the Halo's no cap, these mofo's could tear through dozens solo in weakish gear.

I aged 5 years going through the campaign on legendary. Collectively I died hundreds of times. I ripped my hair out. Cried. Screamed. Punched my walls and my furniture. I gave up on many occasions only to pick up my controller again to die some more. But I was determined. I’m telling you right now. If you haven’t played the campaign, do it on normal and THEN play it on legendary. You’ll thank me later.

Why didnt he get back on and drive at a angle towards the side of the map and then try and blast back to the map that would have made the clip way better

100% the sniper has always felt so weird to me on M&KB I’m still really inconsistent with it… now if this mode had shock rifles things would be different

Shooting a couple of times and it looks like it has no effect... I don't know what it is, but it makes me crazy when I play the MP.

I think it's easy to forget sometimes that you have to drive for the gunner

I have many questions and not enough answers

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. I miss 100% of the shots I do take.

If you ever get in a hog with me as a driver, chances are you'll get at least 10-15 kills before dying. Maybe 20. So many hog drivers are idiots and just drive at full speed everywhere leaving the gunner useless and getting yourself into bad situations where you die. The only time I go full speed is to escape to safety.

Once I saw that br I knew it was all over.
