he's actually likely a little choked up. in interviews, the band has said this was a very emotional concert for them because they weren't expecting to be playing in front of so many people, many of whom were singing along and showing them tons of support. So they were pretty overwhelmed with joy. You can hear it in No Reptiles at this show too.

Funny - first time I heard this song I was relatively disappointed with it. Being a fan since Man Alive I felt like it was a bit trite and didn't feel like I could connect with it. Listened to the album again recently and I can't stop listening to different live versions of this song because I get chills every single time.
