Did you get the 2 books, Spitfire and BF109 with the Lanc build after issue 31?
Hi yes I did, but I’m building this for a subscriber, so it’s been sent to him
Great livestream and build 🙏💞💪👍🍺
Cheers eddy
I might nip along to BBMF and try to acquire a Lanc engine run or taxi run for the soundtrack for this beauty 🎶😍
Hi Tony, I’m sure the base of the Lancaster will come with a sound card, like we got with the spitfire
Watching closely as thus is on my bucket list. I used to volunteer asca steward at RAF Metheringham Airfield museum, which was a Lanc bomber base in WW2. One of its wing commanders early doors was Guy Gibson, who was poached by Bomber Command for a bespoke mission... Loving the build John 😍👏👏
Thank you Tony, glad your enjoying the build
Great build 🙏💞💪👍🍺
Cheers eddy
That’s a great job
Hi John the. glass you have from jml are they battery operated.
Come with a USB charger David
Hi John. thank you for your reply
Great live stream and build 🙏💞💪👍🍺🐕
Really glad you enjoyed it eddy
What happened to the rest 😂 ( it’s really cool btw)
It’s a work in progress 🤣
I'm not gonna lie, thats pretty cool
I thought the same, hence the upload my friend
This is the best thing ever!!!
Thank you for your kind comment
great work John the prop is working as it should be
Cheers Dave, ye load of power on the little dc motor if it can turn freely and unrestricted
Nice show sir, fairly gets up 2 a good rpm 4 such a small motor, see ya nxt time
Cheers Dee, ye when the motor is free from any restrictions it get to a good RPM
@ der say a little grease doesn’t hut either
💯 dee
Hi John good work on the land caster bomber engine it running freely good video
Hi David, hopefully it still runs freely when it’s attached to the firewall
Hope you enjoy today tutorial, please leave a like and comment if you did, thank you
The brass ht leads are cool on the first engine John. But it seems Hachette are not including the rubber ones with further engines, after issue 19/20, so it poses the question is it worth modifying?
Maybe not, but I could add them to the next engines aswell
I think everyone was more or less able to get to that part ok. Then attach the motor as per your thumbnail and it worked ok It’s once it’s in the housing and on firewall it stopped working. Then to make it more difficult. If you’d got that working adding the engine covers stopped it It doesn’t appear to be the design / build / fit as Wayne was able to put it together and have propeller run with out any issues. It seems more the motor just isn’t powerful enough to overcome the teeniest friction The frustration is you can turn it with your fingers no problem, but attach the tiny motor and it wouldn’t work. Although as I say Wayne had no issues whatsoever Most of us have filed the holes in supercharger, oiled the front bearing, filed holes in the firewall, unscrewed the motor housing slightly and unscrewed the motor housing to firewall and removed the exhausts and header tank as these seemed to add pressure on the motor operation to get it to eventually work. I personally believe that a larger more powerful motor and no one would have had the extent of issues. I actually tried this and it worked fine. Problem was it was just a dc motor I had in my drawer that ran off 3 volts but it was significantly larger. As soon as I replaced it with the motor supplied nothing ! Hence the oil, filling, adjusting, etc etc
Adapt and overcome. That is true model work.
From the facebook group, there is still a lot of people having issues with the engine before it even goes into the engine bearers, if it not right from issue 21-22 it will never be right going forward
@56ty78ui 💯 my friend
@@JohnBuildsI think everyone was able to get the engine built and the shaft fitted and as the could get it turned by fingers everyone assumed all was ok. It wasn’t until it was attached to firewall that issues occurred even though they could turn it easily by fingers everyone assumed
@twigwonderkid ye I see what you mean
Nice work within these we standalone vids, and ur brass work looks far btr that wat shud have been in its place

Didn't get notification 😭.
Typical and disappointing side of you tube Steve
As a builder of 'scale' models this makes me cringe. It is a toy. The various 1/35 kits crucify this for detail and accuracy AND makes a mockery of the price difference. I suppose if you have no scale modelling skill, no regard for accuracy and a deep wallet then yes.
No scale modelling skills, love that comment my friend 🤣
I will be continuing the Build of the Apache AH-64 on my 2nd channel
it seems i'm missing some steps, and why no voice over
Quick question what's your idea for thinning Mr hobby 1000 surface primer thinning rate with Mr color levelling tinner have you mix ratio for the air brush that works for you
Goes hard on mute
I don't know Tamiya what did with that hull color, but the XF-9 is a chocolate brown on my model. Now i'm thinking about the solution to overpaint or remove it.
im begining to think 350 ids my scale
That waterline though.. ? 🤔 Otherise Texas is a beauty.
If you’ve ever seen photos or videos of these things their paint was chipped everywhere and rust stains on anything steel. Life in the ocean was hard on the boats. Beautiful job. My compliments.
Got one of these on eBay with the pontos set. Still building up courage to start it!!
You will love the build
Woooow ! 👍
Thank you
The rifle is upside-down. It would fall out if it were like that.
It is very interesting to watch the assembly of this kit, but trying to buy one has, for me, proved impossibly. A kit of one of the most widely- produced military vehicles is very rare.
Totally agree, some of the kits I’m looking for are unavailable
E-bay, Tamiya willy's jeep is actually cheaper than buying in the shop - as little as £10.99, of course this doesn't include postage.
