What's really great about this game is that unlike in previous NFS games you're allowed to shift gears manually in other races than drag which is a great way to improve your control over a car and make it easier to maneuver on one hand and on other to accelerate quicker after making one which is what the player on the video does not do. He was driving on 6th gear for quite long when he could have shifted to 5th and make his car go much faster from 250 to over 300 kph. Naturally when you drop down to 200 or lower it's time to shoft to 4th stage which the game never does automatically. I feel like this skill is necessary to beat the game on King difficulty. It also makes the game that much more engaging.

Great gameplay
People say Most Wanted 2005 is the best, but imo ProStreet is a way better game. PS gives you an enormous feel of speed and a great opportunity to interact with you car, just like in good old NFS games. PS does perfectly what NFS games were originally planned for - it does give you speed.

here's a tuning pro tip for the speed challange cars; you need the softest and the highest suspension possible to be safe on the jumps and bumps at high speed. -10 all front and rear adjustments gives you the best stability and it also makes the downforce more efficient. but on some cars your suspension will bottom out and start bouncing on high speeds. when that happens you need to stiffen up the suspension. it's all in the balance. too soft= bottoming out too stiff= unstable at bumps

My brother often caught offguard in this particular track (watched him play a lot). Bridges with GAP enough for head on collision with dividers = guarantee a TOTALED! Slanted walls that if you run up your car will flip = TOTALED! Poles and toll booths = another guaranteed TOTALED!
Used to play this game on the wii back in the day and now I bought an xbox 360 just to play this again. Man it brings back so many good memories.

Only reason why I want to learn programming and 3d modeling is so I can bring this game back to life and make it better to upto to current generation standards.
I don't get why ea doesn't do that themselves. It's literally a gold mine ready to be mined. Considering they love money so much it just makes no sense to me. Also you would have to Masquerade the game as something else, otherwise you'd just get sued bt EA so there's also that.

3:19 that little bridge have extra concrete squares for no reason and it's easy to hit those and get totaled... One of the worst parts of the track

Yep. And I actually like that about it. It's a pain to get ahold of, but once you get it down, it feels amazing. Drag races are easy mode once you build a decent car though. The challenge for drag races, for me at least, was keeping my 1,000hp Supra going in a straight line because it liked to immediately jerk to the side on launch. Even then... Sometimes it liked to wheelie the whole drag strip, so control was more hopes and prayers than actual driving.
@@imapopo2924 Fr bro ,my 919 hp supra crashed a lot during drag races and I can't even steer for the first few seconds because it does a wheelie.
@@shaminanjumbhuiyan7997to avoid just don't use a stage 4 suspension performance parr. use either stage 2 or stage 3.
When the gaming industry was at its peak of greatness.
This is one of the most stressful tracks of the game. There was one time where every other racer crashed and my car barely made it to the end. With some crazy heavy damage.

I never had many issues with most Speed tracks because a lot of them are a bit wider or at least have walls to catch yourself on, but Nevada was always an ordeal for me. The ditch was instant death and the road is narrow all the way through and bumpy as fuck. I remember having to make a new car specifically for speed challenges just because my Corvette ZO6 would never survive it. It was plenty fast, but I could never keep it on the road on Nevada.
@@imapopo2924 Idk I've always had better success using one of the pouches on the Nevada tracks. Because they seemed to be the most stable and could take the bumps better.
