Great video but sometimes the music is louder than the voice and everything just gets loud.
Can't install apk on android it says Check ADB device listing Check devloper option look normal Check device has sd card
Hello, thanks for the awesome work ! Everything works fine, except that when my character isn't attacking, it's remaining in T-pose. Any idea ? Thanks again !

This worked! Thank goodness. I'm also in 5.4.4 and the lag was unreasonable to do any work. Thank you!
I have a problem with my Unreal Engine since it does not detect any of the assigned routes, therefore the SDKs in the Android packaging come out unassigned to anything
Hey thank you so much!
You're welcome!
I don't comment often on videos however you just saved me thank you have a great day
Hey, much thanks! Have a great day too!
🎯 Key points for quick navigation: 00:01 *🤖 Introduction to the Game Animation Sample and Motion Matching* - This section introduces the game animation sample and motion matching features in Unreal Engine 5.4. - The sample project showcases a third-person character with parkour abilities powered by motion matching. - The project includes over 500 animations and a traversal system for navigating obstacles. 00:53 *🎮 Exploring the Sample Project* - This section walks through the features and controls of the sample project, including movement, camera controls, and traversal mechanics. - The project includes a widget that allows adjusting the game speed, FPS, and visualizing input values. - The character can be swapped with different models, including Unreal Engine 4 and 5 mannequins, Paragon characters, and MetaHuman. 06:30 *👀 Debugging and Visualization Tools* - This section covers the various debugging and visualization tools available in the sample project. - The project includes options to visualize collision, bones, movement data, and the character's trajectory. - The trajectory visualization demonstrates how motion matching predicts the character's movement and selects the appropriate animation. 13:35 *🔍 Understanding Motion Matching* - This section delves into the inner workings of motion matching, including the use of databases, schemas, and channels. - The sample project utilizes a motion matching node in the animation blueprint instead of a finite state machine. - The motion matching system uses weighted channels, such as trajectory, position, and velocity, to determine the best animation to play. 27:06 *🔬 Visualizing Motion Matching with the Rewind Debugger* - This section introduces the Rewind Debugger tool, which allows recording and analyzing the character's movement and animation during gameplay. - The Rewind Debugger provides a detailed view of the motion matching process, including the weights of different channels and the selection of animation databases. - The tool enables a deeper understanding of how motion matching operates in real-time. 31:17 *🤖 Database and Schema for Motion Matching* - The database contains the animation data, and the schema defines the parameters used for motion matching. - The position channel stores the relative distance between the left and right feet, providing pose history information. 33:03 *🛡️ Animation Candidate Selection Process* - The motion matching system selects the best animation candidate based on the current pose and input actions. - The system calculates the cost of each animation candidate and chooses the one with the lowest cost, which best matches the current pose and input. 35:59 *💼 Transitioning between Animations* - When the player input changes, the motion matching system seamlessly transitions to the appropriate animation. - The system predicts the next animation based on the current pose, trajectory, and input, ensuring a smooth transition. 37:27 *🔍 Visualizing the Animation Candidate Selection* - The motion matching system visualizes the animation candidates and the selected animation, allowing for better understanding and debugging. - The system considers various factors, such as velocity and position, to determine the best animation candidate. 41:04 *🏃♂️ Handling Jumping Transitions* - When the player jumps, the motion matching system switches to a different database and schema, focusing on factors like velocity and position for the jump. - The system selects the appropriate jumping animation based on the current pose and input. 43:08 *🎥 Recording and Visualizing Pose History* - The motion matching system records the pose history of the character, which is critical for the animation matching process. - The pose history data, such as bone positions and trajectories, is used to predict and select the appropriate animations. 46:29 *🔧 Motion Matching Implementation Details* - The motion matching system uses a Chooser table to control which animation database and schema to use based on the current state and input. - The system allows for the implementation of various movement states, such as idle, walking, running, and crouching, with the ability to expand on them. 48:49 *🗺️ Traversal and Ledge Handling* - The motion matching system includes a traversal action that performs forward traces to detect ledges and uses motion matching to predict the appropriate animation. - The system utilizes spline-based ledges, allowing for flexible and complex traversal environments. Made with HARPA AI
Does this work for gasp 5.5?
GASP 5.5 uses new Camera Modular System, so this won't work directly
@ all darn ! One last question so if I have camera shake on my first person character is it possible to add that same camera shake to gasp 5.4 character if I do true first person or will it only follow the shake of the third person gasp characters head ?
LEGEND! Worked out for me on 5.4.4! Thank you <3
You're welcome, I'm happy it worked for you!
Package game data inside APK if you wanna test local on your device without google key error

Glad I could help! Really appreciate the support, means a lot! 🙌
Great tutorial and very useful, thank you (suscribed). Let me ask you a question, for a long time I searched for an Android app that does the opposite of scrcpy: I would like to be able to see the Windows screen on my Android, specifically the image I’m working on in Photoshop at a 1:1 scale, to get an idea of how, for example, a UI will look on the mobile device screen. PixelServed worked relatively well a few years ago, but they stopped supporting it and it is no longer functional. Any suggestions for an efficient app that does this? Thank you very much!
bro please help me with android debugging, its showing error that no device is connected
Hey, make sure your android device has USB Debugging enabled in the developer options in settings!

Thank you so so so so so much brother! I got it working after following the video! Im running it on my android now!
You're welcome! And I'm happy to hear that!
Thanks for this quick intro. I have not messed with UEFN, yet this helps. My question are these: Can you migrate assets from UEFN to UE? And, are the gameplay features blueprint based or C++ specific, like Lyra?
Hey, I suppose the UEFN features can't be migrated to UE, but the user created blueprints made in UEFN might work in UE. The features in UEFN, most of them are based on C++.
Thanks a lot Can you make tutorial on black myth wukong 😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ please 🥹🙏
You're welcome! I have made the series for the BMW remake of some of the mechanics. I'm planning for the whole tutorial or something similar soon! Thank you for your support!

Hey, I think you should try installing apk using adb, that should work! Let me know :)
Thank you so much for your tutorial that was great, easy, clear and short, i'm pretty new at this so your way was just what I needed. Now, how can I do all of these, but for VR games for QUEST 2 VR headsets? I know there are a lot of tutorials but I have a feeling that I can connect to you more, I like your step by step process. I need your help again. Thank you in advance.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad the tutorial helped you. @@TheEpicSingh Hi thank you for replying, Im trying to build my project now and trying to upload it into Quest 2, but im getting stuck. I was able to create an APK file and was about to upload it in sidequest but i get an error that installation failed. Ive been tinkering with android studio but maybe the configurations that im setting is whats causing the challenge or maybe something ive missed. Im just new at this in Unreal so im sure im missing something and would love to see your tutorial on it. Or maybe you have an idea on how I can resolve my problem. Thanks for your time and more power.
Amazing work and cudos on explanation
Thanks a lot!

Awesome video! I am using the eletric dreams environment which has substrate material moss over the rocks. When in PathTracing, the moss is disappearing meaning the substrate material is not working properly in PathTracing. Any solution for this? Thanks.
Thank you for the kind words! Regarding the moss disappearing in Path Tracing, I've personally not used Path Tracing much, but I’ll have to look into it. I think there might be an option to enable in the material attributes to support Path Tracing. If I find a solution, I’ll share it! 😁
