How grippy are the tires ?

The Hobbywing website says the ESC’s motor limit is a 2435 motor. Have you had any issues with the ESC running the larger 2838?

Are you running 3s on the completely stock set up ???

Damn that's funny, I just had my Typhon Grom at Cruizin' yesterday and then this video gets recommended to me. I was surprised how well it handled on those bigger jumps! My suspension definitely needs some serious work though, it's very bouncy. Also that breakage with the pin ripping out of the retainer has bitten me twice and it's a real pain, that $30 you spent might end up being worth it. It happened to me twice and both times I lost the barrel and pin, meaning I needed part no ARA311229 ($10) and the $4 rebuild kit with the pins and barrels ARA311181. However the first part comes with two fronts and two rear axles, and you'll likely break the front for the most part...so I need another $10 in spare parts just for some plastic! Wish they sold them separately. Anyway what was the part number of the metal upgrade?

I have one of the losi nascar and the tires are smaller than the groms it comes with a 19t pinion gear and 59 spur 😮😅

I’ve been racing Rc motorcycles for 20+ years…. You have to learn to slow down to take a turn tighter…, I can turn a 1/5 scale Rc motorcycle in a 20” circle (or less) at speed… it just takes practice and learning to be smooth on the throttle and steering … you’ll get it… they are very rewarding once you get the hang of it 😁

Stock tires is shit this buggy need PL MX43 they are a killers. Or try something from louise rc or duratraxx.

Did you bind the reciever to the stock slt 2 or could you bind it to the stock transmitter rather ?

720 scale MPH on 3s. Seems like plenty.

Nice! I’ve just dug my original out of the loft from the 90s and am looking to rebuild it again. I only just discovered they re released these (not been into RCs for about 30 years). Looks very slick, turns out my painting skills weren’t so good when I was a kid so need to come up with a new paint job idea. Love what you did with this!
