Nice! I’ve just dug my original out of the loft from the 90s and am looking to rebuild it again. I only just discovered they re released these (not been into RCs for about 30 years). Looks very slick, turns out my painting skills weren’t so good when I was a kid so need to come up with a new paint job idea. Love what you did with this!

Regular speed control lol I remember upgrading my ultima to an Electronic Speed Controller it was hurt fully expensive.

I have a Maxstone 10 Rock crawler and I think this will work perfect with a 540 motor and a 2s 7.2V 1800mAh battery

Oh wow, quality control issues in this new era. I bought quite a few of the gold pan ones and never had 1 with missing parts or not the right parts. Shame on AE. I guess that is why they only put out a very limited run.

Best/Thorough review of this module. Thank you so much. I just got mine in the mail. I have the thing mounted on a strip of plastic gift card cut to the size of the top of a battery. Sits on top of the battery sideways with the ends of the gift card strip which goes under a battery strap on each side. Might be a slight pain in the ass to tuck under the straps each time changing your battery but it is meant to easily swap quads, charge, etcetera. Super loud compared to the hellgate which I cannot hear very well.

These servos work great!

Very sweet M05 model. I think that some upgrades are necessary like the steering, shocks/shock towers, rubber sealed ball bearings, universal drive shafts and the motor heatsink. The rest is just " eye candy." never in my life have I raced any of my r/c cars when I had them ( not the competitive type) but just for parking lot driving fun. Great video. 👍👍👍

Foxeer arrow micro pro is a good camera upgrade for this works better than stock mine had top end oscillations can't remember what pids I used but fly awesome now
