I was raised and attended Pikeville College now Pikeville University, there is no more beautiful part of the US. Too bad you had to see it on a dark rainy day. In the fall the color is as good if not better than the fall color in New England. People are friendly and welcoming. A great place to grow up. In fact after fifty years after leaving for career I retired and returned Home.

I have to tell you something. I started crying big tears watching this. I love Marshall, NorthCarolina. My mother was from this city. She lived on Sweet Water Road. Just up the other way around the mountain. I loved going here when I was a child. Thank you for much for filming this. She went to school on the Island. Marshall has changed yet somewhat stayed the same. It is no longer a sleepy town. I am so glad people have turned it into a tourist attraction so it won’t be forgotten.

I really liked driving thru this route from Adairsville, GA to Kissimmee and sometimes Lakeland FL when I was driving an 18 wheeler , idk why just like it lol used to do that route once or twice a week

Western Kentucky Parkway should be future I-58 instead of I-569 for 89 miles, between the junction of I-69 and I-169 (unsigned) in Nortonville Kentucky and I-65 in Elizabethtown Kentucky.

Why on earth do they parallel park on the left side of the road. I've never seen that done anywhere else before that I can remember.

I'm looking for a cheap, safe place to retire. Have been looking online at northern GA and across the border to SC. KY looks nice and seems a bit cheaper for someone on a fixed income. Might want a part time job for extra money. Colder in winter though. Very helpful video as I didn't know what to expect.

Actually, the park now known as Holiday World was originally called Santa Claus Land and everything was Christmas themed with no other holidays celebrated or included, which was LONG before the roller coasters or water park.

This is an awesome place to visit during the apple harvest season. We typically make a trip in mid September of each year to get some apples, apple fritters, apple butter and apple cider.

Anyone else been to French Lick? Opinions? Things to do? My daughter used to go to IU in Bloomington a few years back. Loved driving down to play the casino when we would visit her. Would also visit West Baden Springs Hotel. Such a stunning building!
