Sadly, you lost me the moment I saw all of the cheap foam being spraying into the piping, covering the joints and junctions, making future repairs so exceptionally difficult and costly.
these are artesian spas. watch this video Platinum does it much better. Only foam on the shell, hard insulation on the cabinate leaving all the jet bodies and plumbing exposed so its easy to service. th-cam.com/video/EiSHF_NCKKI/w-d-xo.html check out our newer models. 304 welded stainless steel frames, gear clamped plumbing lines. If the hot tub is air locked with this prevent the water from heating up?
Yes air locks will prevent the water from reaching the heater depending on which pump is air locked. If you have a dual-speed pump or circ pump model and those are airlocked, this will cause no flow to the heater. Also this is something that needs to be fixed right away or turn the power off until you can solve this. You don't want any pump to run dry or you can cause damage to pump and seals. On the south seas models you need to make sure water level is to the top of the cap. If it gets low, it will suck in air also causing the tub not to heat.
Thank you! Good stuff. Instructions say to let filter dry after cleaning (rinsing). How dry does it need to be? What I read is that this allows additional particles to drop out and prevents mildew, etc. The latter seems odd since it goes right back into the water.
just rinse really well and put them back in. We recommend having 2 sets. clean and rotate them every month.

Change it to the turquoise colour, then do it again a second time and leave on turquoise. That should do it

I go to settings and hit "scenes" then go to any of the scenes and hit enter and the pumps turn on?? Any ideas why
Scene mode enables the user to preset a setting such as pump setting or temperature setting and save it as a scene for quick access.

I do have a question my swimming spa the jets turn by themselves why? I have not done any settings the company just show me how to turn on the jets and turn it off that’s it
Do you have the same swim jets that are in this video? these are older versions. If they are the same, there is a ring that you need to tighten to lock them in.

My waterfall Doesn’t flow smooth. When i got the tub brand new it worked fine. I have used a butter knife to gently free and debris and it helps but the chopping flow comes back in just a few mins. I have water changed and replaced filters and I can’t ge the waterfall to stay smooth. Any suggestions ? Thanks!
you must have debris behind the filter in the waterfall. There are 2 screws on the face of the waterfall. If you remove them you can gently take the face off and remove the debris behind it.

You need to turn the pump on and release the bleeder cap all the way.
How do I turn those off for EP12 Active Plus ?
Depends on how many pumps you have. Its the jet that controls your hot tub seat.

Any suggestions why the low power Jets 1 won't turn off? Been on every time I've checked the last two days, even when it's at or above the temperature set in the control panel.
yes. sounds like you are on FILC check your filters cycles. If its on filc then it will run continuously for 24 hours. Change it to filter cycle 2 so it runs for 2 hours every 12 hours. You can change this by pressing the warm then jet 1 button.

The tap was impossible and awkward to unscrew. I unscrewed the nozzle connection and that seemed to work.
Yes you can also use a car oil filter wrench to loosen the union. This method will also work, however it's easier with the bleeder cap. You can use some pliers and gently unscrew it.
