Vader was a motivational speaker kind of employee, and that’s an asset in any business.
Remember when movies had substance?
"Bro, if it were up to me, we wouldn't even be wasting time or resources on a single planet killing battlestation, but that decision is above my pay grade."
R.I.P. to the legendary James Earl Jones. Vader wouldn't be the same without that rich baritone of Mr. Jones.
🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
“The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am” Maul can attest to that

I love the threatening finger pointing 👉
The gulp during the last line is so perfect, well done.
In one of the novels it has Jerjerrod's POV when the Emperor arrives. While he's disappointed the Emperor doesn't praise him for the completion of the second Death Star, he decides that the fact he wasn't punished is reward enough for him lmao.
Governor Tarkin was the meanest officer Vader worked with.
I feel like Vader actually would be a good boss to work for. It seems like he generally takes an interest in the officers and is very professional towards them. Sure he has high expectations but I feel like he’s fair. The people he killed for failing him did make colossal mistakes but it wasn’t their first mistake probably.
The emperor is coming
Rest in peace, James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader.
Jerjerrod: I assure you Lord Vader my men are working as fast as they can. Vader: Perhaps I can find new ways to motivate them. Random Stormtrooper: (Under Breath) Give us a raise. Give us a raise. Give us a raise. Give us a rai- Darth Vader: I shall throw a pizza party in the mess hall at 14:00 hours. Random Stormtrooper: FUCK!
Darth Vader, The Emperor is not as forgiving as I Am, Commander Ok Fk it we're all joining The Rebel Alliance now, Fk the Empire!
Bob was here...
Darth Vader is right he is actully a forgiving person he can be viewed as tough but fair he forgives his soldiers foe the first time their fail and doesn't punish them if it is out of their control he only punishes them when it's clear they haven't improved where they rightfully should have and he is generally respectful and friendly with them outside of that since he at least takes the time to hear them out.
Lord Vader is right, I am not big on forgiving
0:22 Attention on Deck!
This is the sort of careful pacing, writing and acting missing in the sequels
God, it’s a good cop, bad cop situation, the only difference is that there is no good cop, they’re both bad and this line just proves that neither one of them is genuinely merciful at this point.
Love how Vader is portrayed here; harsh but resonable.
Apologies, my lord. We are a union facility and we're just trying to avoid a lawsuit.
That´s my FAVORITE scene of all. The movie is such a masterpiece, especially with the sound effects. Darth Vader and the Emperor talk in a sophisticated, philosophical manner... It´s so, SO GREAT. I can´t get enough of it.
this was such a powerful scene, too bad the rest of the movie..
Imagine you line of work involving serving the guy that has slaughtered his own subordinates, regardless of the reason, and wiped out whole civilizations to find and hunt the Jedi and traitors and then he tells you "the emperor is not as forgiving as I", making it clear that he isn't even tbe strongest force in the empire. I'd have shot myself with a blaster. Ain't no way I signed up for that nonsense while sober.
At 1:17 Vader says The emperor is not as forgiving as I am. Like how you forgave the previous Imperial Captain on the Star Destroyer Ship? Force Choking Captain Needa, saying Apology accept Captain Needa. Then after Captain Needa Dies. Then tha nearest Imperial agents pick up the Imperial Captain Corpse.
Gotta love humor from Darth Vader!
Yeah but the pay is good, plus free housing
bro is traumatised 3 times in 1.5 minutes
RIP Michael Culver.
He was in The Empire Strikes Back, this is Return of the Jedi.
I just realized that I haven't seen RotJ in a long time, gotta fix that.
In some cases less people can be more productive in a certain job or department. Less can sometimes be more.
1:13 Farther tell me to clean the dishes before mom comes back
This scene does a perfect job of conveying just how big of a threat the Emperor is. For most of the scene, Moff Jerjerrod has little issue talking back to Vader when he brings up the lack of progress with the Death Star's construction, but the MOMENT Vader says that the Emperor will be arriving, Jerjerrod immediately folds to Vader's demands. Plus, Vader's claim that the Emperor is not as forgiving as he is makes it clear that, should Jerjerrod fail to get his shit together, he is in for a WORLD of pain. Keep in mind, Vader had no problem choking people to death for failure in the last film, so the fact that he describes the Emperor as even worse than he is, especially when failure is involved, really cements just how bad a guy the Emperor is and keeps us on the edge of our seats.
"We're doing all we can." "The Emperor is coming." "We'll double our efforts."
I need someone to tell me that everytime i walk in a room lmfao
my favorite scene
I miss this empire. They had the on screen presence of intimidating villains and I miss the empire consisting of men. I cant take female stormtroopers seriously.
Ominous but it's also true. That lord Vader is a more forgiving one.
The music alone is scary 😮😮😮
I really very much want to send this clip to the test lab which keeps delaying the test of my product...
Leadership
This is just a normal Monday morning briefing in my company. Heard this a hundred times before
When middle management tells you that he needs more resources (men) and time both of which are under upper management control. I wonder how many shortcuts he tales to be ready in time.
Vader would never talk to Tarkin like this. He's the boss at this point apart from the Emporer.
Imagine if the Emperor was in fact as forgiving as Darth Vader, the commander maybe could have a day off having panic attacks and cutting
Before Disney ruined Star Wars 😭
I’d say the emperor is more forgiving than Vader lol
