As a Beatles fan observing Bono and the Edge mesmerize an arena audience; just makes me wonder what John and Paul would have done with the same opportunity. Amazing performance by U2 which I witnessed that year and a few others…

Oh wow! I had a CD single that had a very similar version on it (I think there was one minor difference but now I’m not sure if I’m remembering that bit from another live version). I absolutely loved it but it somehow got lost. I was devastated. I usually only “like” music videos on the “official” musician’s/band’s channel but I’m so happy to have heard this version. One of my personal favorite from U2... makes you want to always sing along when it's played.

outstanding performance however, the cruise ship advert is a bit laughable. Inviting people to a month on a floating petri dish/crucible of disease? I think cruiseship holidays are fucked.
