    Thanks for this video! I just came off of Accutane, and only just found this… It seems like my course gave me rosacea, as I can’t even go outside in the cold without my face getting extremely flushed. Any advice for this? Also, does your method help with indented scarring? Thanks again!

    • @seanmauceri4249
      @seanmauceri4249 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately Accutane destroys the natural lubrication of your skin...so that will be the case for some time. I would follow the advice to do everything in your power to not further dry out your skin. The swipe method will help in the long run with scarring as a sort of dermabrasion, but I'm afraid it will take time as well. Wishing you all the best.

    Hello. I was suffering from very bad and painful acne which covered my entire cheek. It shattered my confidence. I had tried everything (topical) but nothing worked. Then i came across something called cavemen regimen. But still i did not see anything significant. In a desperate attempt, I also considered going for medication or laser....or something, anything....On researching some more on the topic, i fortunately, at the right time, came across your reddit post. And then here to this video. It was july2021. I followed everything you said religiously. In addititon, i sprayed some rosewater after the swipe method. Thats it. I covered my mirror to prevent myself from picking them. Today is feb 2022 and my skin is clear, healthy and smooth. Thankyou so much sir. You had been a blessing in my life. I will forever be grateful to you. 🙏🏻

    Hey Sean, did you delete your posts on Reddit? I've been doing your method for the past week and my skin has cleared up significantly (I'd say about a 50% improvement in a week, which is quite astonishing given that on my previous skincare routine, I could expect that within a 6-12 month period). I've noticed my skin is slightly oily at night so I'll be looking to reduce the swipe method to every second day as opposed to the daily routine I am currently doing. Thanks for posting this and I'll keep you updated with how my skincare journey goes.

      Hey sorry I missed it. How are things going now? If your skin is still oily I would reduce the swipe method to every other day (if not every few days) and adjust accordingly. The entire theory here is less is more and if you are still oily that means your skin is compensating for being overly dry. Hope that helps.

      @@seanmauceri4249 Hi, thanks for answering! So it's been over 2 months so far and I can say that I am still definitely getting pimples. I still have been getting pustules on my forehead and cheeks and got a small one recently on my nose. For a while I was getting a lot near my eye brows but I think that has lessened a little. Most of my pustules are on my chin and jawline area ( especially my right jawline ) which makes me believe this is hormonal acne. I never sleep using a pillow and have been doing the swiping method with cold water only every other day or just a few times per week. I only wet my face with cold water and do the swiping at night. About a month ago I also started using oil blotting sheets and have been using 2-3 sheets per day. I still get quite oily but the sheets help remove a lot of oil that is produced constantly. Overall, I don't think my acne has gotten worse since I stopped the use of cleansers/moisturizer but I don't think it has necessarily gotten any better either. I'm probably going to try this for one more month (until October 13th) which will make it a total of 3 months on this regimen. If I'm still getting acne by then which I think is very likely (especially on my jawlines) I'm thinking about using cleansers again but not daily. I'm not sure if that would be the right move after 3 months or if I should try to continue the regimen. I heard that results for this usually show around 2-3 months so if by my 3rd month I'm still getting acne, maybe this regimen isn't working for me. I'd like to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

    I don't know man, I took Vitamin d3 10000 IU for about 6 months everyday and It did clear my face to an extend may be 90% clear, but such high amount of Vitamin D3 gave me a painful kidney stone. For those of you planning to take Vitamin D3 make sure you take it along K2, they work together to make sure D3 goes to the right places bones, teeth, skin, etc..

    My experience using this method. I'm and 18yr old male with pretty bad acne scars and just acne in general. Day 1. Very oily forehead and cheeks but my skin looks the same. Day 2. Still had very oily skin today but no new acne. Day 3. I was losing hope but today my skin was not oily but I do have 2 new pimples. (I think they were just old ones that decided to form a whitehead) Day 4. I have a new white had but other than that my skin isn't oily and my hyperpigmentation on my forehead is almost gone!! Day 9. My skin surprisingly hasn't gotten worse, but also seems like it's stagnated in like the healing process and my forehead is beginning to become bumpy. I'm gonna hold strong and continue with this.

      It won't let me edit again so I'm gonna have to post the update down here* I'm not sure what day it is exactly but I think its somewhere around 2+ weeks. My skin honestly looks so good right now, like its 70% healed and most of my bad acne scarring on my forehead has just disappeared as well as my hyperpigmentation. I started taking vitamin d about a week and a half into this and I believe it was what pushed my skin to the next level coupled with getting no soap on my face and the swiping technique. This will be probably my last update, but I can officially say that this technique does in fact work. (The vitamin d part is essential I believe.) Good luck everyone on their journey to good skin and please do yourself a favor and try this technique for at least 2 weeks, you won't regret it.

    I‘ve been following your steps for more than 3 months now. It kinda got worse/stayed the same, however, I noticed that my skin is not getting an oily film anymore which is very good and even looks more refreshed than ever. Based on the assumptions that this is a major cause for the bacteria’s survival, i think it is a good sign. The problem though, my skin just doesn’t get cleaner, there are always coming up a few new pimples every other week or so, maybe it takes a few months more to completely „purge“ the skin from previous blackheads and bacteria etc. What are your thoughts? Did you have to deal with an initial worsening? If yes, do you think that 4 month’s is a bit too long for that state? I now it’s a bit too broad of a question to answer but some thoughts or experiences would be much appreciated 👍

I think it just needs a small push to get rid of the bacteria. With their current numbers it may be too hard for the skin to defend on its own. Is it okay if I rinse my face with cold water in the shower before I wipe with the towel? Or wipe then rinse with cold water?

    • @seanmauceri4249
      @seanmauceri4249 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A little bit of cold water is perfectly fine. Just a general rule to avoid hot water streaming on the face for any period of time. I swim ect. with no concern of water, just when it's hot as it will strip the natural oils on our face (have you ever tried to clean dishes with hot water vs cold?).

    Hopefully someone can offer some advice! I have a beard iv been growing out for about a year and a half and really dont want to shave. Additionally i dont get any breakouts anywhere on my beard apart from like 1 or 2 pimples every couple weeks, my major breakouts all happen above my beard on my cheeks. If im not letting water touch my face while showering do i just wash my beard regularly after a shower but avoid anything above it? No way this towel technique could keep the skin under my facial hair clean right?

    • @seanmauceri4249

      Hey Israel, ultimately I think 90% of this is simply avoiding soap, hot water, products or anything that will dry out your skin, leading to an increase in oil production. Are you shaving above the beard line or doing anything that might irritate this area? Maybe you figured something out that you can share given this comment was made 3 months ago? Anyhow hope all is well!

    Once your cystic acne started to subside and flatten did you have the light redness spots and some of the darker brownish red spots?

    • @seanmauceri4249

      Sadly I did. My skin was BAD...so it took a solid year plus to fade and disappear. I do believe the swipe method will help in this regard, as it will act as a long term dermabrasion.
