The chronograph ap seiko mods do not use sapphire crystal… only the automatics with the clear case back display use sapphire. The chronographs also use quartz movement.

That BB54 homage is actually a modern reinterpretation of the original BB54. It is flawed, as the original did not have the snowflake hands, which weren't used until 1969. What they should have done is used pencil hands to be true to the original.

Rolex is laughing all the way to the bank with the insane markup for a watch that costs less than $500 to produce. There are a lot of anecdotal reports of the Seiko NH35 movement being more accurate!!

I prefer the gold-tone with the rectangular indicators, not the Roman numeral hour indicators.

I have the Invicta version. I'm less than thrilled with it, but I am fairly happy with it. I only wish they hadn't put "Invicta" on the case. I'm thinking about rolling it into a secondary roll and getting this Steeldive for daily wear. It's just a bit more classy in my opinion. Thanks for the comparison. Good video.

Steeldive are a high quality very affordable tool Watch . Far more value for money than the Rolex which is grossly over priced . The video is a little boring - not much info other than the image / video .
