Yes I do, but it depends on the project. The 160 is an amazing camcorder, great AF, long zoom range, easy to use memory cards, good audio, nice codec. It's a bit bitter than other typical camcorders like the HVX/HPX, etc. but it's lightweight. For me it's one of the best camcorder and I still love to use it event the heavy fisheye breaks your body haha. It depends what you need and want. If you're looking for a good all-in-one camcorder for actionsport I would definitely recommend this camera even today. If full-HD 50/60fps is enough and you don't need crazy amount of data for color-grading, etc. you can get the 160 2nd hand I guess for around 1k€-1,5k€. 3rd parts like batteries are cheap for this camera and at the end you don't need much more. With an 32GB SDHC Card you can easily shoot a whole day in max. quality. The footage is nice and smooth to edit in premiere/davinci even with older PC. The Xtreme fisheye for the cam is way to expensive right now but there are good alternatives around. To be honest since I bought the camcorder I never really kept up to date with the progress of camcorders. I know that there are nowadays really good camcorders around which can shot even better quality and are smaller and lightweight but maybe more expensive. So I wouldn't say it's worth it but from my perspective it's still a camcorder which is amazing to use and you can film skateboarding in a way (according to quality) which is still good enough from small homie-videos up to crazy Mason Silva Parts on Thrasher haha. hy man, I never tested the ag-hmc 152 but I got couple friends who use the cam and are really happy with it. unfortunately I don't have a comparison between the ag ac 160 and the ag cmc 152@@tomzkiwahyu25

@@petermader9559 thanks sorry i wasn't clear i meant auto focus settings. Do you just leave it on wide or do you use the touch tracking?

@@inbloom9083 haha easy. It depends on the shot. AF, Touch tracking works really good. Not 100% but you can trust it in most scenarios. Also like to shoot manual. It depends which look I want to achieve. On this edit it was all AF, no touch tracking.

Setup for the Video: Sony FX6, 28-135 f4 PZ. The lense is „old“, only f4, and expensive. Quality and Image are really good. The focus works only via a motor, so fast zooms are not possible. For skateboarding it’s perfect because you can zoom with the zoomrocker of the camera. Together with the very good AF you can create nice dynamic zoom shots which are still crispy (Showreel was all filmed with AF, also at night with f4). For skateboarding it’s -for me- the best Telelense to be able to have that camcorder feeling but in a cinematic way. Conclusion: For skateboarding i would recommend the lense (maybe you find it 2nd hand). For all the other stuff I would not buy it, because it’s way to big, heavy and only f4. There I would rather go for the classic 24-70, 70-200. All the longlines stuff of my other showreels or videos on the channel was filmed in 99.9% with the 28-135. couple other shots with the 18-35 f2.8.
